  • Far from it of me to criticize anything Miles Davis ever did, but I like the slow version of Well You, Needn't Miles played. You can hear it in the movie Lenny. One of THE COOLEST versions of ANY song EVER!

    "Well, You Needn't" was recorded in 1956 but not released untill 1961.

    The album was called "Steamin'" (with the Miles Davis Quintet).

  • @FunkySkunk90 Well, "Well, You Needn't" is older... Originally it's by Thelonious Monk - one of the great american jazz pianist... I'm a big fan of Davis, but bigger fan of Monk - so I must correct you. ;)
