Thats because the video was titled "free soundset" and I gave it away free until it got like 20k viws, then I started charging for it.

I guess people dont realize a deal when they see one. They would rather spend $20 on a soundset that is just as good, instead of a measly 5 dollars...

I dont know how to get the download link back for the old preset pack and I didnt make the pack right, so the presets wouldnt go into a folder and you had to open them individually, so I am just gonna change the video title and basically that 40-sound pack is gone :(

You have to have all the presets collected in the sylenth 1 and then go to wrapping settings > save bank, then all the presets will get into a .fxb file :D

the only way of saving a whole bank that I know of is like you said to save them to an already opened preset bank. You could basically just copy an already existing bank, open it in sylenth and then load all the single presets in there and hit save bank...

@eliassorensen He does use reason only. But do you really think he doesn't sample from any other DAW? School boy error :) For example, the 'guitar' sound from Pandora is made from a guitar VST, recorded and then brought into Reason.

Actually, I have known Daniel since around 2002 when he (he released under the DJ Mendoza name at that time) had the "Boycut DJz" group together with my friend Geo/Wazari. :) But there's a huge difference sampling sounds from a ROMpler like Nexus (as I know he does), and using a synth like Sylenth1. You archive exactly what Sylenth does using Reason-only, so there would be no need for him to use 3rd party vsts for lead/plucks/bass.

@TheDigitalCrusader They are. If not more. The power in Reason lays in its flexibility. You can route everything together. You can take the LFO from ONE synth and route it to an delay to make a live scratch-effect of the sound you route through the DDL-1. People like Daniel who have used Reason since it came back in the days knows a lot of small tricks, that even the creators haven't thought about. But of course there are more powerful vsts than Reason. But to what Daniel do, Reason is just fine

I personally believe it is the producer not the DAW (digital audio workstation) which is what reason is btw, :) just like FL, ableton, etc....even if daniel used FL with stock plugins he would make a good tune :) maybe not as great but still good

You can save a whole bank in the settings of sylenth1

in the settings (below) it says: presets: and 4 options (load preset/bank, save preset, save all presets and save bank)

So click on save bank :)
