I love Vincent Perez and think he pulls off the Russian accent pretty well. I just re-watched this film and find it was even better on second viewing. It's incredibly beautiful - the scenery is amazing; shot in Cornwall, I believe. The story is heartbreaking but beautiful, eternal. I love this film; score is terrific.....glad I bought it.
I must type something here. This is one of my 3 favorite films of all time (top 3 is always changing- but this stays in the top 3)- anyway- the preview/trailer here for it is really very weak. They used the popular American action film voice over guy (R.i.P) (bad idea), wrong music, and the most obvious of dialogue- the film is MUCH better than this preview shows it- this preview really does it harm instead of selling the idea of it. If you like this movie I also recc. "the spitfire grill".
