I seem to observe that the man breaking the board appeared to be deep in thought, trance, or simply not mentally located at the same place at the same time he hit the board. After he accomplished his task, he appeared to return to what we call, "normal" state.

Is this observation far off the mark?

@killmyself2020 I see people write that all the time and I don't think they understand the meaning of the demonstration. The breaking of the board represents the culmination of all the training he has done. Just because he hits a board does not mean he's weak or inferior to someone who hits a person.

@killmyself2020 that strike is faster and stronger than any punch, and you probably agree punches can and are used aginst other people so a faster and stronger attack still should be able to be used in a fight

im not tryin to put down the video because every video you have that ive seen i was basicaly in awe but if it did break through wood wouldnt the wood be jagged in the break area or is this technique so swift and powerful that it can actually form clean breaks on objects?

Regardless of anyone's comments about whether or not something will work etc..etc...That is not an easy break. Not to mention, spear hands tend to be a "soft tissue" strike. So, if he can break a board; imagine that hitting your throat.
