it has 295 lbs but it has flat torque curve, check on e92 m3 dyno's then you will know what i mean . it is not heavy as you think it only weights 3547 lbs on laiden, meaning weight without gas or a driver.

@e92m3fan word... 335i drivers are the new dbags that were in the E46M3. They don't know shit about engines/cars, just more 'boost' and Hp numbers. Power curves make an engine, and give you the fun feeling, not peak numbers.

Both very nice cars but the new M3 is too top end focused with a peaky power band I mean its only putting down 290ftlbs torque which isn't great especially for a heavy car but either way its still an awesome car. unfortunately in this day and age everyone is swayed by the marketing hype of top end horse power numbers alone and not how the power is being delivered

I dunno whats the problem with u guys, its obvious that the new m3e92 is too fat. The M3 is 200kg heavier then a normal 335. Give the 335 a set of BBS CH with Michelins, Bilstein Suspensions, a damn Visnu Set and the lsdiff (all together less then a M3) and the M3 is lost. I had alot of Ms before i bought my 335 but im happy with it. And by the way i have my 335 since 12/2006 and there is absolutely no problem with the car...

Como decía. No se puede comparar un motor de doble turbo con un atmosférico. En tal caso ponedle también al M3 un sistema de doble turbo. Me da que entonces el 335i solo vería humo alejandose, jejeje. Las competiciones han de ser en la misma categoría. No puedes meter a un corredor de los 40 km. a competir con otro de los 50 metros lisos. Esto es igual, el M3 al principio perdería, pero a la larga ganaría. Es un coche para USO INTENSIVO, no esporádico como el 335i.

Una de las principales diferencias es que el motor atmosférico del M3 podrá durar en torno a 10 años mientras que los turbos del 335i dándoles el mismo uso intensivo del M3 no durarían ni dos años. Por fiabilidad y progresividad (EN GENERAL) gana el M3. Aunque personalmente tal vez me quedase con el 335i que ya es suficiente. Por precio están "cerca" en EE.UU. y claro, comparar un 335i con un M3... Ejem! Y si eso poned doble turbo al M3 y ya veréis...

Perhaps you should check the website again because your stats are really old (for the first iteration of the V1 chip).The new V0 pack is called the 390hp-400hp package ( but its just signifying that the chip gives 90bhp than the stock car, which itself puts out closer to 330hp, hence this chip gives safely more than 400bhp). With 93 octane Vishnu states the car does 12.5 secs over a 1/4mile with stock exhaust.

Hey moron, why dont you type in " bmw 335 v2 vishnu vs e55amg " or save time and go and buy the m5board dvd where they run the v2 vishnu against everything including an e60 m5, m6 and 911 turb from 50-250km/h. You will see the V2 335 beats everything to 200km/h including the porsche and kills the m3 by 10 car lengths. The V2 vishnu puts out 375rwhp with an exhaust. If you check the site you will see they call the v2 the v390 pack

The V2 vishnu 335i is faster than the e92 m3.

The M5board did all the testing in Sweden, the V2 vishnu puts out 400whp (around 450-480bhp at the flywheel), and beat the e55, and M5 touring aswell. Their tests were from a roll 30mph-155mph. The New m3 is quick, but alittle disappointing considering a $2k chip on a 335i makes it quicker

u r wrong. there r 2 videos part 1 and part 2, and you can clearly see AND HEAR that it is a e92 M3 against a 335i. M3 beats the 335i in part 2, driver error in these situations, proceed V2 is phenominal.

The E92 M3 is just insain and the 335 (for its price and not a M BMW) still in my good books! However the M3 is in another world. Its around 5 - 6 seconds faster around a track. And in racing .5 of a second is a life time.

Hey man, Iv got a E46 M3 currently and im currently saying alot of "hmmmm"s to my self over I should buy a ner new E60 M5 or a new E92 M3. Both are similar price. I have beaten many guys in 335i and 335Cis. THO! The 335 is the fastest and most impresiv non M BMW iv ever driven! Hands down. When I drove one I was keen to see what they had done with the E92 M3, Now iv driven both!
