I'm a Drum Major and one of the reasons i love this Mickey Show is because throughout the entire thing, it looks like that's exactly what he's doing controlling lighting, water effects, fireworks, music cues, just everything. I would love to be apart of that. I love how everything just comes together as a whole.
When I went it got rained out it was pouring we got back to blt and whishes didn't go I was so sad because it was our last night and we hadn't been to the top of the world yet so now I have to wait 5 years to see this live

This show was awesome. My brother new one of the cast members in it, so we got VIP seating. The only thing I hated was that damned cannon blast when you are getting into the animations in the water!
The problem with this program is that it only plays on two days per week and there are only two shows on each of those days. That makes it nearly impossible to see unless you want to spend the better part of your day at Hollywood studios waiting to see the show AND it also makes Hollywood Studios crazy insanely busy on Fantasmic days. This show should play every day like every other Disney show.
Tip: Don't got to Hollywood Studios on a Fantasmic day unless you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see Fantasmic and very little else in the park because wait times for everything else will be triple to quadruple what they normally would be and fastpasses for most rides will be gone before lunch. And that's even in January when it's supposed to be slow.
@buttaman1924, hmm, maybe they change it at different times of the year. I was there this past January. They only did the show two days per week and only twice on each day. We spent two days a Hollywood studios. The first day wasn't a Fantasmic day and the park was quite dead, no wait times, a great day to be there. A couple of days later we went again and it was a Fantasmic day and the park was totally nuts. Wall to wall people, long lines everywhere, with a 2+ hour wait for Fantasmic.

I wish we did fantasmic! My first year in marching band we did Danny Elfman music, and this past year we did Video game stuff like Halo, bounty hunter and kingdom hearts.
Every time I go to WDW in Florida, I never get the chance to see it, but I'll tell my family about all the positive comments toward the show and maybe I'll be able to see it this February. Wish me luck!
@sasukeTORNnaruto Easy, usually we hit all the rides that are really busy, and then we walk around (shopping, food, etc), and we leave during the day, instead of staying there, and for some reason the rest of the family wants to skip it. It's a majority rules thing, which stinks.

This is one of my most favorite fireworks to go to in Walt Disney world. I'm actually going there this December 4th for a week and we're planing to go there on the 10th. Can't wait!
I think in this video, WDW's Fantasmic was in it's starting stages, before it was the way it is now. Some differences by cues and effects, but I heard it will probably go on refurb soon. It needs after 11 years already, DLR started their big refurbs 13 years after it started.

I beg to differ. after being born and raised in Orlando, I can tell you it gets cold in the winter time. Not snow, but Yes some ice. And it don't matter, you get wet, then sit in a breeze and tell you you don't freeze.
I live in miami and i've been a lot of times in Orlando and sometimes is really cold like below 1 but otther times is just a normal cold but still it does not kill you so i kind of agree with you

I loved this when I first saw it in 99 and 03...it was amazing. I thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest because of the happiness i felt. Disney is amazing.
My first time in USA, in Florida by this time I was in MGM Disney, and at the end of that day I was in Fantasmic. I have to be honest, i cried for the emotion and happiness I felt at that moment :)
I went to Florida in November 2000 and I loved Fantasmic. I cried in Magic kingdom when I was watching the fireworks. I had wished to be there for so long and it was truly overwelming. I was 33 at the time.
anyway I freakin cried the last time I saw it...it was so beautiful...and so emotional especially for me since I saw it on my very last high school band trip to florida...:(
This is my absolute favorite show at Disney World. We have passes to disney and every time we go to Hollywood Studios I HAVE to watch this. I have to say i've seen the videos for the one in Disneyland Ca and I think this one is better by far.

Agreed. Disney-MGM Studios' take on Fantasmic was well-written and Disneyland has lost its touch. I visited Florida for the first time Christmas '06 and that was some vacation!
Okay, I have to admit that this is really awesome! I saw the Disneyland version live last summer, and I loved it!!! I think I prefer the Peter Pan ship bit better than the Pocohontas, but they're both good. I also like how this one incorporated more heroes/villains/characters in general. They're both great, and I think they both help to give Walt Disney's creations more life. In the end: Bravo to Disney/MGM for both productions. Bravo!

is it just me or did they add new music and scenes to the show??? wow! upgrade but still staying true to the original! love it! not like taking out the country bear jam for that ridiculous waste of a ride..POOH.. love pooh, don't get me wrong, but the CBJ was the BEST!

Correct me if I'm wrong. But Pooh replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I thought Mr. Toad was a better ride than Pooh. I love Pooh too, but Mr Toad's was awesome! But when you ride Pooh you can tell it used to be Mr. Toad's.

I worked in WDW back in 04 and on off days I was at MGM watching this show and on days that I worked mornings...I fist saw the show back in DL back in 01 and I fell in love.. FAVORITE SHOW EVER!!

I loved this when I first saw it in 99 and 03...it was amazing. I thought my heart was going to pop out of my chest because of the happiness i felt. Disney is amazing.

My first time in USA, in Florida by this time I was in MGM Disney, and at the end of that day I was in Fantasmic. I have to be honest, i cried for the emotion and happiness I felt at that moment :)

I went to Florida in November 2000 and I loved Fantasmic. I cried in Magic kingdom when I was watching the fireworks. I had wished to be there for so long and it was truly overwelming. I was 33 at the time.

This is my absolute favorite show at Disney World. We have passes to disney and every time we go to Hollywood Studios I HAVE to watch this. I have to say i've seen the videos for the one in Disneyland Ca and I think this one is better by far.

I love this show! Its by far my favorite night attraction at Disney World. I saw it live about 6 months ago. It was awesome. I love Disney World and I hope to go back soon.

Agreed. Disney-MGM Studios' take on Fantasmic was well-written and Disneyland has lost its touch. I visited Florida for the first time Christmas '06 and that was some vacation!

I love this show! if they ever remove fantasmic or indiana jones ride from disneyland I would boycott! that's how much i love fantasmic! :P

Okay, I have to admit that this is really awesome! I saw the Disneyland version live last summer, and I loved it!!! I think I prefer the Peter Pan ship bit better than the Pocohontas, but they're both good. I also like how this one incorporated more heroes/villains/characters in general. They're both great, and I think they both help to give Walt Disney's creations more life. In the end: Bravo to Disney/MGM for both productions. Bravo!
