Tony Hawk is just trying to make up for the shame Skate put on his games. Skate showed them that its possible to make a good looking game that has original gameplay and realism. Things that Tony Hawk games never seemed to accomplish. Even when they tried to match.

Well in this case they are trying to make a realistic game. I see your point but from reviews i hear that the sensors aren't that good and the "career" wasn't as good as it should have. This could have been way better.

This game is for the people who can't ride a real board, cause they fall on their asses when they put both feet on it. Tony Hawk games just got lame after number 2. At least when Skate came out, it was a hell of a lot more realistic. This Tony Hawk is just way to over the top, and will probably be expensive as hell. I'd rather spend $50 on a real deck, then over $100 for a virtual one.

i dont see real skaters using it either especially since you cant even try it out without paying $120. not to mention that the board doesnt look to respond to skaters natural instincts on a board besides being able to perform a physical ollie or 180. theres also the issue of hawks fanbase that now exclusively caters to a more unrealistic or arcade based crowd that doesnt really enjoy real skating and really dont want to actually have to do their tricks in the physical.

Thia is still easier because you don't have to do the balancing as much, which is one reason I stick with a bike in real life. It's still easier to do this than get a board and go to a park. There will be stisfaction in this because there still a feeling of acomplishment when you learn how to do a new trick.

i dont know it seems way too much like a gimmick, as a person who skates in real life this game seems a little redundant. i mean there are factors in real skating that you dont have to deal with using a fake board but theres also less enjoyment. the game doesnt seem to be much harder minus the weird tilts you have to do and add to the fact that the major grouping of talking hawk players dont really like skateboarding in real life and you have a disaster on your hands.
