Must be a nice car as I still see them on the road all the time. Too bad a lot of the people I have known who drive CRX's tended to be douche bags, you know the type... xD
soo all the crx's si are fuel injected?,i want to buy one but my dad disagrees because he says it has a carborator&it gives you problems?,should i buy an si model?,haha.
The CRX Si was the fuel injected version of the first generation CRX. The other CRX models were still carborated. That is why it's used as an advertising feature.
I owned and and raced a black 1986 CRX Si. I absolutely loved that car. A teenage boy and his car have a special bond. I keep meaning to hunt down a buy a used one.
a number of things. check timing, thermostat, radiator hoses, heater core, radiator, change coolant, check oil, trans fluid. even the vac lines not connected right can make the D15 overheat. i had 3 1985 Crxs 2 SI and 1 hf. same engine/trans. check those and let me know if you find it
May be the fan. Because in the highway don't need fan, because the air going thru the radiator. May be the thermostato, the last one it costs no more than 10 bucks.
The best CRX-Si commercial came out in 1985-- ahead of the 86's debut... the black car lifts up with the nose facing skyward and then blasts off, straight up.... and the announcer says---- " The new Honda CRX-Si-- Its a rocket !" I remember it well-- because I bought it in January of 1986 and its been a joy ever, as I still drive it everyday ! Best all-around 2-seater sports car , ever -- first generation version

I think that's Burgess Meredith speaking (Mickey from the Rocky movies). Honda commercials from the 80s were fantastic.
