Far far better than the rubbish that Palm commissioned. Perhaps if they had got this guy to make it they would not now be owned by HP (may not be a bad thing though) and be an actual competitor to the iPhone.

I am very happy with my pre and it works with me better than the iPhone, but I have only ever seen a handful of people with one, a shame really, WebOS is a great, very well thought out and put together Operating System and does not get the exposure it deserves.

I have a PRE on O2 Germany - it runs and runs and runs without any speed problems. It's just great. Multitasking is awesome - just a great phone!

Maybe if there was an actual choice and it was not a forced decision then the figures you mention would hold some validity, have you "used" any other OS's to compare & contrast?

I have a PalmPre: the video doesn't show how choppy & frustrating the Operating System is/can be. Why does it often get hung up even if you have no cards open?

This is a cool video, but not very effective. It doesn't name the product the ad is trying to sell. Unless you are familiar with webOS, it's tough to tell exactly what the device is doing. The tie between the magazine and the device is great, but I don't believe that this would sell phones.
