Just like everyone else I have an opinion and Joe is by far the best singer when it comes to Olly Murs. His voice is absolutely amazing and has even improved since X Factor if that is possible. He is with a new record label which is more nurturing of their artists. Simon Cowell's label didn't promote Joe properly and yes I know Joe had input on the first album he released, but they are the professionals when it comes this and should have led him down the right path.
I think Joe and Syco did not work because Joe is not a pop product, he is an actual real singer. He does not need scandals, a rude attitude, and tinkering in the studio to make him sound good. He is at his best when he is raw and on stage. That is perhaps why his 1st album did not work too well -- they mixed and produced it too much. Using mixing programs backfires when someone is talented. Joe winning the opera show and recently being signed to a new label proves leaving Syco was a gift for him

The training he has gotten in classical singing has really improved his voice over this. It has brought out this incredibly power without losing his natural sweetness. His Nessum Dorma is my favorite of anybody's, except Pavorati's.

He does have a tendency to get a bit pitchy. Some professional vocal training would help that alot. I think he's a bit of a late bloomer as well... once his balls drop he won't sound so much like a girl when he sings. He does have a strange tendency to pick mainly female songs, so that isn't helping much either. After his nads develop perhaps he'll be able to sing more male parts.

I'm from America and I think Joe McElderry is amazing! I first discovered him through youtube shortly after he won X Factor. I bought his album and I love it!! No matter what Joe will always be a star in my eyes :)

I think the two main reasons why these trolls have come to Joe's video to make negative comments is
1) Their parents did a shit job at raising them and they incorrectly learnt that they are some how superior to a person based on orientation, and
2) They know that they will get a lot of attention from Joe's fans by writing homophobic and otherwise offensive statements.

There are singers and there are pop stars...Singers last for ever, but pop stars dont...Joe is a singer...and a great one at that. I beleive launching him into a pop career with his pop album was wrong. It was not well received by his fans or potential new ones.
