Killing Floor got its own remake into a stand-alone game....and I think its gotten easier by creatures but harder by numbers.

By spooky numbers, I'd still put Afraid of Monsters above Zombie Panic Source. Most of these games are more "hectic" than scary/spooky. Killing Floor has a sense of humor too. Yes I'm being nitpicky but Afraid of Monsters feels like more effort was put into it being scary. And I'm more a fan of the original ZP too, if only for a simpler feel of playing.

@PekesterD well the prologue is cheesy scares, the second game is more like classic horror and suspense like amnesia. plus it has a cool storyline and a overall theme and character that adds up almost perfectly, and because of that its not really seen as a brilliant mod, too normal, too perfect.
