In addition, is Michelle Bachmann really the one who hates your children?
Don't you think it's just a little bit more likely that the real children haters are the ones who are trying to promote worldwide population control. They see children the same way as they see carbon dioxide. As the main threats to the earth.
And you're accusing the anti-abortionist Michelle Bachmann of being someone who hates your children? Blame your allies in the war on capitalism and unborn children, for that.
The whole issue is that CO2 is supposed to be causing runaway global warming due to the tiny (and I mean TINY - less than a single %) increase in CO2 that mankind is responsible for.
This is nonsense because CO2 is a trace gas, and moreover, it is very far from being the chief greenhouse gas. What is? Water vapour (H2O).
So do we put plastic covers over the oceans and try to prevent as much rainfall as possible to "save the planet"?
No one would fall for that line! Instead the guilt and fears of the general public are leveraged by choosing CO2 as the "dangerous gas" since it's linked to energy production and (indirectly) in the minds of the public with guilt over how our progress and way of life may inevitably doom our planet.

CO2 levels don't lower. It stays up there and there is no way back if it turns out to be harmfull, which is evident to most people with some sense of reality.
If you worry about oygen worry about the 40% reduction (due to CO2 increase) in oceanic phytoplankton that provides roughly 25% of the oxygen on earth.

Further clarification on these and other points regarding Bachmanns relationship with Frank Vennes Jr. has been requested from the congresswomans office.
Vennes brother and his wife, Greg and Stephanie Vennes, have donated an additional $8,400 to Bachmann since 2005.
Its also not known whether Bachmann intends to return or donate to charity any or all of the campaign contributions received from the Vennes. Other politicians or candidates who have received campaign donations tainted by the Petters scandal — including Bachmanns 6th District Democratic opponent, Elwyn Tinklenberg — have done so.
FRANK VENNES JR Its still not clear why Bachmann used her congressional status to try to leverage a presidential pardon for someone who does not even live in her congressional district. At this point, the only apparent connection between Vennes and Bachmann as a congressperson is the $27,400 Vennes and his wife, Kimberly, have donated to Bachmanns campaign funds since 2005, making the couple among Bachmanns largest individual contributors.

1. There can be many reasons for climate to change, so the actual development of local temperatures is a sum of many factors.
2. Yes, there was high CO2 in the past, millions of years ago. All the plants and animals have developed since then, and although plants like CO2, the man induced change will be devestating.
I'd be less hesitant to agree with your theories and that of the Climate Change Movement if you guys weren't funded by the financiers of the world. These factions have sowed war and spured on the growth of the very civilization you wish to deconstruct.
These folks have openly hijacked your movement and now are poised to financially control the "solutions" to Climate Change.
I agree the carbon market has been hyjacked by speculators, but it is a necessary step towards a system that includes all cost of economical activty, and its is a continuation of all pollution legislation. Never before have the corruption of law been such a visible proces, so it is only a matter of time until the problem is fixed, and then all will benefit from that..
If you want to spew salt in places it does not occur historically, you will run into problems. Same goes for nitrates and sulfates. You could argue for a tax on table salt, as it drives up health care cost due to high blood pressure victims.
again you are retarted!!! o.k you will get your taxes.... you'll pay for having your light bulbs not "energy efficient" for your "horrible" car but the point is that this money just goes to banks and governments and not into "fighting" global warming... and we'll still have the same shit you'll just pay 10 times more for all your services from gas to electricity to food and groceries, because this will effect almost every part of economy.. oh yeah did i mention millions of job losses? :)
You are describing so may choices you have : 'you'll just pay 10 times more for all your services from gas to electricity to food and groceries'. Says who? Are you going to be a victim of whatever price regime is installed? Don't you feel robbed by the car companies that made the SUVs to get subsidies, let them guzzle all your oil while electric cars would be cleaner, quieter, much more efficient and equally cool (no lack of torque in an electric engine)? You call me retarded?
1. Oil was "part of the ecosystem" - its made from decayed animal and plant matter. Once all of the oil was part of the earth's biomass - IE that carbon was not trapped.
2. There was significantly more carbon in earth's history than there is now. Even if we burned all the fossil fuels, CO2 is absorbed by the earth - specifically by soft stones like limestone and sandstone. We could not reach CO2 levels of the dinosaurs.
3. CO2 isn't toxic until 11% saturation. We have3%
To answer your observations, they are correct. However you and the life on earth today did not adapt to the temperatures you found on earth when all that carbon was in the admosphere. That is millions of years ago. That means animal habitats will shift or disappear and 2/3 of all animals pieces will die out. Two Thirds. Then there are plants that can't move or spread so fast. Then there is the ocean that becomes so acidic it can't support any life anymore. So OMG, you are gullible
The oceans will never become so acidic that life will not exist. There is bacteria that can survive in hydrochloric acid. There's bacteria that thrives in boiling hotsprings. There's bacteria that live in rocks themselves. Life adapts amazingly, and even if global warming is happening, which NASA satellite temp scans have conclusively showed that it is not, it would not extinguish life on earth.
Yes Jaspian. Your wisdom is infinte. Why try to preserve the present life forms, even if we are one of them. Eventually some bacteria will remain, and that is life isn't it. I will stop worrying about it. Thanks again Jaspian. You are a saint.
I am pretty sure you missed the whole part about "NASA scans conclusively showing that global warming is not occurring" bit.
And you seem to forget that all life evolved from microbes, (that is, unless you have the same faith it the Bible as the other false profits who have suckered you into this Climate Change BS, which wouldn't surprise me. They are very similar). Other animals will adapt to changing conditions too, including people.
Dear Jaspian, you have no grap of the facts, and you seem to be immortal or suicidal, because for some reason you see no problem in a world inhabited only by microbes. Please stay away from this issue, go play outside, your ignorance is murderous.
I grasp facts rather effectively. At least I am citing facts, which you are, not surprisingly, deficient at. The reason is because the only defense Global Warming Alarmists have against logic and reason is shrill yelling, insults, and ignorance. They cite "scientists" as if all scientists agree when it isn't even CLOSE to a consensus.
You're missing the point. The point is that earth has had significantly more CO2 than it does currently, and even if we burned all of the oil it would still be less than it has been in the past.
A past in which, I might add, Earth had a much more lush and vibrant biosphere than it does today. In short, CO2 promotes flourishing abundant life.
... and guess what? We had ice caps back then. So CO2 doesn't really effect global temperature that much, if at all.
Yes Jaspian. What those scientist are thinking I don't know. Or those middle eastern and chinese people that see their land dry up. Or those polar bears without a pole. Its all so rediculous, probably propaganda. I'm happy you responded Jaspian to impart your insight..
1. Not all scientists agree that global warming is happening. Those who you should listen to are climatologists, and they're about a 60/40 split according to a poll that they took at a world seminar in 2006... a number which should lean increasingly towards skeptics, considering that over the past 3 years NASA satellite temp scans have shown global temp as dropping since 2006. There is by no means a consensus. NASA satellite data is posted on their website for everybody. Go look.
Oh and as for China and Middle East - landscapes and climates change constantly. It has always been that way. This is nothing new. For a century, England had a climate similar to Italy's today. For a different century, England froze over entirely - and both in the past 1000 years. The only thing that never changes is change itself. Its a living world. It is in constant flux and it always will be. Back then they blamed imaginary gods. Today it seems we're doing it all over again.
Wow... you are a moron. The higher concentrations of CO2 there are on earth, the faster plantlife grows, since it takes CO2 out of the atmosphere and creates biomass out of it. That's why greenhouses have higher saturation of CO2. Its been shown that plans are healthier and grow faster with more CO2.
You are a carbon-based animal. The carbon that YOU are made out of came from CO2. The more carbon there is in the air, the greater the earth's biomass can become. Or do you hate plans and animals?
Thanks. No, because the CO2 concentration graph shows the fluctuation caused by seasonal absobtion and still increases rapidly. Second, you are not focussing on the problem, which is absorption of IR radiation by the atmosphere. GET IT?
Actually I don't think there is a problem. CO2 is an extremely minor factor in earth's temperature. The earth has been considerably hotter than it is today many many times, and not with high amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere. If CO2 leads to a change in temperature, this would be the first time in history that phenomenon has ever been observed. In fact, it tends to go the opposite way around, since warm temps speed decay, which releases CO2. Compared to bacteria, we make like no CO2.
CO2 in a confined space like inside in space capsule (APPOLO 13) is of course posed danger, but earth in a large sense is not a confined space, we have plants to absort CO2 and by other means too in a CO2 cycle. Your comment about the woman is not on firm ground, by the way did you also send a transcript to her so she also response for what you said.
Yes the atmosphere is a confined space. But of course the toxicity of CO2 is not important, that is how she willfully misinterprets the problem. It is about CO2 capturing solar radiation and warming upt the atmosphere.
You underestimate the stupidity of people. She might actually be that stupid. If the law of natural selection still apply then these people and the people who elect her kind are going to get a real nasty surprise. No amount of denial can change the facts on the ground.
I don't know what her entire arguement is but from the tiny selective clip you presented here it certainly does not support your commentary of it by any means, eurogoldexchange.
you said "evolved". that is a big no no.

They cite "scientists" as if all scientists agree when it isn't even CLOSE to a consensus.

Jaspian, there are people who can be taught and those who can't. You wasted enough of my time.

oh, sandstone absoprtion would work if we stopped emittion today and wait 240.000 years..

Jaspian 2 years ago 2

4. Study the Azolla Event. Check the ppm of CO2 and the global temps. Then tell me global warming isn't a joke.
acidtrashy 2 years ago
Wow... you are a moron.
Jaspian 2 years ago

You are right Jaspian, we where fools. We will listen to you from now on. Thanks for showing us the light..

Look up the % of carbon dioxide in atmophere .. HIGH CONCENTRATION? look it up under 1/2% in the atmophere .. look it up .. clown

CO2 in a confined space like inside in space capsule (APPOLO 13) is of course posed danger, but earth in a large sense is not a confined space, we have plants to absort CO2 and by other means too in a CO2 cycle. Your comment about the woman is not on firm ground, by the way did you also send a transcript to her so she also response for what you said.
my1earth 2 years ago
Yes the atmosphere is a confined space. But of course the toxicity of CO2 is not important, that is how she willfully misinterprets the problem. It is about CO2 capturing solar radiation and warming upt the atmosphere.

You underestimate the stupidity of people. She might actually be that stupid. If the law of natural selection still apply then these people and the people who elect her kind are going to get a real nasty surprise. No amount of denial can change the facts on the ground.
leninstreet 2 years ago
I don't know what her entire arguement is but from the tiny selective clip you presented here it certainly does not support your commentary of it by any means, eurogoldexchange.
edmack4me 2 years ago
No, I guess that is the point. She may sound reasonable, but in the context it is absolute nonsense.

We don't have enough of her statement in context presented here for your assertion to stand. That is my point.

I guess you are right. I made it as a video reply, but now included the original on the side..
