Isn't at the top of the lift by mushroom bowl there a sign that says this is closed? Cause it looks like a sick place to ski.

@NothinButPow Yeah it's technically illegal to ski. I think the real reason is the big cliff band that surrounds the bowl. If you had a bunch of rookie gaper skiers going in Mushroom Bowl people would be hurting themselves left and right. Vail Ski Patrol doesn't want to have to deal with it. And it is protected animal forest preserve.

how do u get out of this bowl and where?

this is the only thing that sucks about park city utah, where i usually ski, there is no backcountry area to ski unless you go to the back side of the mountain and hike all the way back up. I might be going to vail next year so how do you get there.

@Wormer27 I won't tell you how to get there b/c there is seriously dangerous terrain up there and you should be shown safe lines by someone the first time you go. But I will tell you this particular line I skied is actually below that Vail Backcountry warning sign. But seriously you don't ski the Vail Backcountry without proper avalanche gear and training. While also being able to handle advanced terrain skiing.
