Agreed the songs were more pro Rangers than anything else, however as Ive said elsewhere, the Union jacks were always a permanent fixture among the Rangers support, as for havin to craw in England, there aint too many England shirts on show at Ibrox nowadays, the old times certainly though give me happy memories and I do agree some of the Ulster stuff thats sung today is needless, more Rangers songs without any add ons are needed.
notice how few union jacks there were. thats when Rangers were Scottish and not infected with this british shite we have nowadays. Rangers didnt have to craw in England, they were the people. even the songs were more about the club, there were only 2 orange tunes , no surrender and the sash , not like the poluted irish shite of today. deedle dawdle willie waddle
@gazwel83 As an authority on flags from the seventies, I feel you are not as well versed as you portray. Never the less there are more Saltires than the union flag that brings shame to a once great Scottish club. The quicker we rid ourselves from bigots such as yourself the better. Deedle dawdle
This year ended Celtic's 9 in a row. Gers went to Hibs needing a draw to win the League and it ended 1-1. I was there and it seems unreal it was now 34 years ago ! Sadly the guy who crossed for Stein to score, Bobby McKean died a long time ago in his late 20s when he was still at Ibrox. Came in late at night and slept in his car in his garage to avoid wakening his family but left the engine on, fell asleep and was killed by the fumes by accident. Sadly Jock has gone too. RIP guys,

another trip back down memory lane to the days of long hair, flares and Easter road being taken over by the Teddy Bears "Glasgow Rangers, We'll support you evermore" !

@sabbathslaves
Flags were not available then as easy as they are now. Don't see many Saltires there either.
But don't let that ruin your myth about "Irish" shite.

Too young at the time to remember this but that is a favourite Rangers goal of mine. Good move and what a cracking header by Stein.

If you hate Brits so much how come you support a British Team
And how can we be Protestant Bastards if we have Catholics in our team
