You should build a Nether rail system someday. Because 1 meter travelled in the Nether equals 8 meters in the overworld, you can go extremely long distances in a relatively short amount of time.

@jared3118 I'm playing on a server and I've found a Nether fortress. The monster "Blaze" spawns in a Nether fortress. I'm making a minecart rail system from my portal to that Nether fortress. You should do that too!!! If you don't know about Blaze and Nether Fortress, check minecraft wiki

@jared3118 You're welcome! A Blaze drop blaze rod and you can turn that into blaze powder and combine it with an ender pearl to make an "Eye of the Ender." Throw your eye of the ender (right-click) and it will fly in a certain direction. Follow it and grab it when it falls, throw it again and follow. It will lead you to a stronghold. In the stronghold you will find an "End portal frame" and you need to fill it with 12 eyes of the ender and then you've created a portal to the end! But be careful!

You could put an extra powered rail just before the tree farm stop, which when unpowered will act as an extra brake on the downwards direction. That way you don't overshoot.

that powered rail just before the stop at the tree farm, put a pressure plate rail just after it so it only speeds you up when you,re headed up

Check out a "monkeyfarm" video titled "fastest elevator in minecraft". It will look better than the minecart system and might function well too.

or you could make a connection from each rooms lever to a lever at the bottom, allowing you to turn a lever on or off on a floor from the bottom :D

or does this even work? are you even able to change a levers position with redstone when it it self controls some redstone?

Anyways, this might be something you'd like to take a look into.

Hey Jared. I gotta say, i love your series. I greatly enjoy kicking back in my chair with my feet up and a cold drink and watch an episode :)

I have an idea for the mine cart staion.

What if you stand on the bottom of the tower and you want to take a trip up the tower where you'll stop at room 1 3 and 5? you'd have to either know that in advance or run all the way up pulling the levers, and then run all the way down again(stupid right :)?)

just a surgestion but try having a higher frame rate. it will look so much smoother :) normal tv is 50FPS so try 50 or 60 :)

i was like yay Jared has posted another vid when i got home from work witch was great to see, wasn't expecting it at all so loving the daily dose of Jared vids :)

i love the idea u have of a stop start or continue if needed mine car system but it doesn't look that good tbh ( sorry ) maybe if u rethink ur stair case upto the top and use half blocks as stairs the mine cart will run along side it better ? as i see it in my mind i think it will but i may be wrong mate, but worth a try :)

Just wanted to let u know that I'm loving the daily episodes and it's not going unnoticed!! I'm sure u can tell by many other comments.

A couple of tips, when ur harvesting ur wheat, if u hold down shift, then u won't destroy ur crops or mess up the dirt. Also, don't forget u can craft near depleted tools together to combine them into another tool just with more durabilty.

an idea for the lava pillars is to surround them with the new iron bars rather than glass, just an idea ;)

u could always put all the switches at bottom of staircase and then u could decide prior to going up instead of stopping at preset rooms. u could also leave the option of puting a second switch connected to the switch at the stop in case u chgange ur mind on the way up or before u go up.
