He makes the point very clear that the situation of Jews varied strongly across nowadays Yemen and also across time. To your information, Yemenis are not bastards! No doubt that events happened which are not acceptible for todays (20th century) human rights standards. But you can't apply them to history because the socio-economic context was tooo different...

Interestingly, Germany has nowadays again a population of about 200.000 jews (of which are 100.000 religouisly affiliated) despite the holocaust, most of them emigrated relatively recently to Germany from Russia/ Ukraine. So, obviously Jews seem to forget about this, but the don't forget about the massive flight from Arab states. 777Yonatan, can you explain this to me? I can't agree because it's simply not correct. Read please Yosef Tobi: "The Jews of Yemen" or similar scientific literature. He makes the point very clear that the situation of Jews varied strongly across nowadays Yemen and also across time. To your information, Yemenis are not bastards! No doubt that events happened which are not acceptible for todays (20th century) human rights standards. But you can't apply them to history because the socio-economic context was tooo different...

No, that's not really the truth... and it's extremely simplifying and much too much black-and-white.
The world is not as simple as this although you like to believe this.
It's known also outside Israel that many (Jewish) Israelis don't like Arabs, are even hostile against them etc... - But I wonder whether I should start again a discussion, I tried to do this several times in the past and had to realize that certain types of people don't WANT to see reality in its complexity.

Some questions:
1. What is the "Arab world"? Is it Abbasid Baghdad, Fatimid Egypt, Zaidy Yemen, Maronite Libanon, Alawite Syria or Salafi Saudi-Arabia? All of them? Or none?
2. What about the many examples of peaceful coexistence of Jews & Arabs?
3. "deny Jews ..." - I suppose most Arabs would be indifferent if it would not have happend on lands which they regarded theirs.
4. "refuse to support a Jewish state" - How should they?? Try to make the effort to imagine you in "their" position(s)...
