  • the pagans and the wildlife ppl are the true natives of europe4 russia and iceland.we are the true earth ppl heare..........pagan pride 4 life.

  • Big government for ya!

  • I can't take a movie seriously when they use comic sans in the title sequence.

  • Man...how can you take children away from the mother? That's sick.

  • We English never get it do we! We've been doing it for centuries to gypsy children and the like. We just don't get that just because we cast bastards out and discrimanate, doesn't mean that everyone else does! Why can't we just get it!

  • I'd love to know what the woman at the start is saying!! :(

  • 0:14 COMIC SANS, for the lord of Aboriginals, WHYYYY?!?!

  • Such a hypocrisy that countries that comitted genocides on a large scale like Australia, USA, Canada aso now play the role of someone who cares for Darfur, Libya, Kosovo aso

  • @Honigdrohne0221 that's so true.

  • @Honigdrohne0221 I can tell you that Libya was a genocide...Over 200,000 innocent civilians killed in the past year! But you wil never hear that on the news..All Libyans supported Gaddafi. Those rebels were western imposed mercenaries and Al qaeda who lynched black Africans across Libya. The Libyans are starting to take back there country after NATO's destruction and GENOCIDE, but much work is needed now

  • @420goossens Yes I know and you are right. Even the celebration parties of the so called rebels were faked. In reality they shot the pictures in Qatar. Gaddafti was a good man, unique in this world and I am an admirer of him.

  • @Honigdrohne0221 yes, you are correct, Qatar played a huge role. They even admitted after the fall of Tripoli they had hundreds of soldiers in many areas in Libya. Gaddafi was the best man i've discovered. It's amazing the things he did. Libya went from the poorest country in all the world under King Idris to the richest in Africa and one of the richest Arab coutries in the world..Their citizens no longer get free health care, education, water, no interest and many other things.

  • @Honigdrohne0221 It warms my heart though that you were able to get the truth, despite all the action taken to surpress it. We really need to change this word. I'm not religious but am spiritual and I believe great change is needed soon, before we destroy this earth.

  • @420goossens Yes I am a curious man and always want to find out the truth. I know all about Libya because I subbed an account on facebook named The truth about Libya. They provide me with uncensored news from Libya, Syria and other countries as well. BTW I am not religious as well.

  • @Honigdrohne0221 I am also always in search of the truth and am quite curious as well.. Hands off Libya is another great account on facebook. 108morris108 is a great account on youtube with a tremendous amount of interviews and updates on Libya, Syria, Nigeria and everywhere theres important news.

  • @420goossens Ok thx I will check out this account. Plz have a look at "9/11 entschlüsselt" (9/11 decoded) on YT . I can recommend the first 10 parts. 100 % scientific and logical. It is German dubbed but I think you can understand the English Original. And the pictures speak for themselves.

  • @Honigdrohne0221 ok thanks i'll check it out. 9/11 is what put a start to this "war on terror" where they control the armed extremists and the soldiers. They use both to justify the other's presence. The people of those nations under attack are the true target. I think a war on indigenous people and tribes has been waging for a long time..Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Syria..all have a huge tribal presence that is under constant attack from NATO.

  • love you ! <3

  • in the version I watched, there were subtitles, so the viewer could understand the native language. I've seen this so many times, I don't even need em!

  • I had to watch this in geography at school it's sooooo sad :(

  • Guys coming from germany we watched this movie last week now we write a class test on it :(

  • what the hell is with the camel at 8:48

  • @roxas4thewin A camel smells the danger. For instance, when it knows he's about to die, he cries.

  • @samrugbyman89 that's interesting how subtle a thing the makers of the movie put in it

  • i had to watch this in s.s

  • this was probably one of the sadest history movie i have ever seen yesterday in my class we watched part of it i was so shocked and sad that they took the three children i despise people who do this i hope we finnish the rest this was the only history movie i liked out of all the ones

  • Where can I find this film with english subtitles?

  • i saw this in our english lesson but only 3 minutes and these 3 minutes moved me ,i was very shocked that australia stole aboriginal kids in the past .

  • the white people should leave them alone, those people should also get a life

  • I'm honestly so proud to be a half- caste.

  • @shtm93 yeah ..I'm pretty sure she told her that the eagle would always protect her and watch over her and guide her.

  • What does Molly's relative tell her when she looks at the eagle? I'm writing an essay about this movie and can't remember what kind of importance the eagle had. It was some sort of spirit that would help her, right?

  • A response to some of the comments here. A quote. "Responses to such confrontational topics may not only include the "positive" emotion of sympathy, but also "negative" emotions of anxiety, anger, frustration, shame, and denial". Kennedy 2004. The Affective Work of Stolen Generations Testimony: From the Archives to the Classroom.

  • its random how at the end of the movie, it says that one of the sisters (molly or daisy) go back to Moore River and THEIR children get caught, so they walk back to Jigalong.. lol

  • Beautiful movie, unfortunately underrated

  • those bastards should leave the poor aboriginals alone

  • Do not go on about the aboriginals. Aboriginals have the same rights as us, actually stupid british took their land away, leave the Aboriginals alone. because of the british the last full blooded aboriginal died last year. You lazy people should read the book of this, like I did. and see how many times the bird comes up in the film and try and figure out what it means.

  • haha ;)

  • haha ;)

  • 8:31

  • 'You tell that Mr Deville, if he want half-caste kids, he make his own'

    Loooooooooooool!!! XD

  • Hey Now! Don't paint a pretty picture of Muslims. It's no accident that the word Ban is in Taliban! All of that faith is based of bull-shite stacked so high that all their Prophets would get a nose bleed it they stood upon it.

  • how u know wat they r saying

  • Issues related to farming?

  • urgggg, hate this, not because of it being a bad movie, just because i have to watch it like a billion times and have to prepare my essays about it, and it due on Monday, I'm so FUCCCCCCCCCCCCCKED

  • Awsomeeeeeeeeee :)

  • before i watched this, i thought it was about animated rabbits @.@|||

  • my teacher cried after watching this!! O_O

  • I know the place they were running to was forbidden for men to go to but why didn't they keep running after he stopped? :(

  • i watched this years ago and absolutly loved it :)

  • What happened to the subtitles in the beginning, when she speaks XD`?

  • hey.....thats the professor the Dark Arts....Professor....ummm...Lockheart! Yes. Professor Lockheart!

  • Beautiful land .... fuckin Whites they destroy everything in the name of evolution . i am white but whats the world my child will face ?

  • i saw this at school and i cried

  • I like Kenneth Branagh, but his character in the movie is son of a bitch.

  • Does anyone know what Mary's mom (or the narrator) is saying in the beginning? I am curious what she is saying...

  • @TheCrackerSoup it is the real mollie talking in her language, she is sill alive but i think gracie is dead

  • i love ths movie

  • 6:10 Oh my god, really? They needed PERMISSION from this guy to buy new shoes? wtf?

  • @TheFemaleBarbarian Or Aussies.

  • @TheFemaleBarbarian You obviously do not know much about Australia do you?

  • @MayganHopeMC Sorry I Didn't Explain the Question Properly What I Mean't Ask If RBGUERILLA was of aborigonies decent

  • @TheFemaleBarbarian WHAT HE WAS REFERRING TO IS A THIRD RACE THAT LIVES LIKE THE NATIVES

  • Mr Neville should be re-named to Mr Deville

  • @mountainpro1 I thought so as well, when I was younger and I'd watch this, to me it always sounded like the children were calling him "Mr. Devil"

  • i agree how would he fell if he got takin from his family when he was young

  • @mountainpro1 Its supposed to be an implied name because of what he did to the Aboriginal people. If they just straight out re-named him Mr Deville there would be no significant emotions for the viewer, they would feel like the director had a personal agenda against Mr Neville.

  • i feel so sorry 4 those kids

  • i saw the movie at school and i almost cried it was the saddest movie i have ever seen.....

  • ahgh, sorry, Graciebubblegirl already wrote out the translation here, sorry.

  • I seen this movie before, but forgotten it untill i found the book in the school libaray. and then i remembered this movie! thank you for uploading this!

  • translation from Indb: Molly in her language: "This is a true story, story of my sister Daisy, my cousin Gracie and me when we were little. Our people, the Jigalong mob, we were desert people then, walking all over our land. My mum told me about how the white people came to our country. They made a storehouse here at Jigalong; brought clothes and other things - flour, tobacco, tea. Gave them to us on ration day. We came there, made a camp nearby. They were building a long fence."

  • I love love LOVE this movie. I don't even know why, it's one of the most depressing movies I've ever seen, yet it's SO moving!

  • omg thankyou so muuuch!!!!!!!

  • lol 9:15 there are Tyre tracks at the right side of the screen :)

  • 7:12-7:17

    hilarious!

  • @ AeroSkyx i am not meaning it in a bad waty but i just thought i would give you some general knowledge People who are born in australia who we call aborigonies dont like to be called aboriogonies as that is what the uropions called them they preffer to be called indigenous australians

  • btw they rnt actors the are actual aborigonies

  • thumbs up if you had to watch this for travel

  • omg this is my present english topic

    topic= rabbit proof fence

  • native people, how cool ! :)

  • What a movie... as a Law student I felt compelled to watch it, after it was mentioned at a recent workshop in Lismore for SCU.

  • @ashnaNsingh you study law but you're watching a film illegally? lol

  • @01101011010101010100 ,, we infact used youtube in our workshop to watch other movie bits relating to what was been taught and this was another movie that was mentioned at the... law .... workshop. I have not downloaded this movie... watched it and since have ordered my own copy. If u think its illegal viewing then why are a youtube viewer/member... anyways thanxs...ash

  • @ashnaNsingh watching films illegal doesn’t trouble my moral conscience one bit, I just think it’s a bit hypocritical someone who will one day be casting judgment in a court of law is viewing a film illegally. This film has been illegally uploaded to YouTube... you of all people should know that.

  • I'm not sure if this movie should make me feel slightly better that America isn't the only country to have a dark history of mistreating its native peoples, or if I should feel worse now seeing that this is a cruel common pattern in the settlement of the former British colonies.

  • Was Molly's mother and aunt half caste too?

  • @TheFemaleBarbarian not really at all... theres a lot of Aboriginals around my area but their obviously aboriginals with their dark skin... i know of about 3 that are obviously descendant from Aboriginals but they look white.

  • I couldn't watch that movie but now I can watch it on Youtube. Thank you!

  • Aborigines are welcome to New Zealand anytime :)

  • you’re lucky there were white cunts around to defend this land from the Japs.

  • The year 1970 is just the same as the Japanese government has established a series of environmental regulations including those for water pollution and air pollution. We have something to consider for our future in the era of climate change.

  • This is just like what americans did to the native americans. Why do white people tink they can just swoop in and take everything and claim it for themselves? Makes mesick

  • @CelloPlaya08 ONLY AMERICA IS STILL WORSE AND YES I'M AMERICAN SO I CAN TALK

  • This is an amazing movie I've watched it twice and it still one of my favorites. It made me cry it is so inspirational.

  • Everlyn has a community page on FB: "Everlyn L. Sampi"

  • 4th Translation.

When the woman sees the white man she says

"Molly,Hide those kids" then the kids hide and a other woman says

    "Policeman...looking for halfcastes"

and that show take care of what goes on..

the rest is mostly in english in the movie and if it isnt. i promise its not that important like below vvv

  • @gracebubblegirl hey, uhhh, how were you able to translate? You Aussie and part Ab or what? Or do you know it anyways? I saw your profile pic and you look white, lol, so that's why i ask. Or maybe that's not you? Another thing is idk if you were making all that up or if you were really providing a true translation of Ab dialect. So if all that you said was true thanks in advance.

  • @thefidlerontheroof Um,yeah thats me. and i have the DVD sir and i can put subtitles. and thats what it says mk. k thanks.

  • @gracebubblegirl why, thank you very much. The translation has helped immensely. :)

  • @thefidlerontheroof r u jewish? I am? I love fiddler on the roof and i'm 11

  • @sakiwioz haha, lol, no. I am not jewish and i have not seen the movie, nor the play, nor read the book. I made up my user name at complete random. Cheers!

  • @thefidlerontheroof mhmmm (: your welcome

  • 3rd Translation. The woman is pointing at the ground and you see tracks "Hes going this way,see the tracks." Girl sees whatever it is in the tree and says "Here here in the tree" Woman- "Watch out for his claws,..Good hunters in this family" You see a white man on the horse, and in the background. "Your growing up fast molly" White man are talking..like white man doo. lalala when u see the old lady with the walking stick the one woman says "Mmm Fat one" xD
  • Second Part Translation.

When u see the girl looking in the sky

"My dad was a white man, working on that fence, white people called me a half-caste."

When you see the woman and girl with arms around eachother.

"See that bird? that's the Spirit Bird..He will always look after you"-woman

Then you here kids laughing, and running. & someone says

"Hey granddaughter, watch were u run...you kids will destroy the tracks. He's here somewhere, keep looking maybe over there,Here they are look!"

  • First Part Translation. "This is a true story of me,my sister daisy, and my cousin Gracie. when we were little. Our people, the jigalong mob.. we were desert people then, walking all over our land. My mum told me about how the white people came to our country, the made a storehouse here at jigalong.. brought clothes and other things..flour,tobacco,tea. Gave them to us on ration day,we came there and made a camp nearby. They were building a long fence," Then u see the Title Rabbit-Proof Fence

  • @bozarte no ty :P...

  • Comment removed

  • @bozarte but that means i can't watch it on Youtube or i'll be watching it twice, sorry.

the best way to change the world is to change oneself.

  • @InstaProds .. what's the issue of watching it twice ?

  • @bozarte because you've already watched it once, or is that logic too much for your brain to handle?

  • 9:22 why are they running in the direction the car is driving? Surely running in the opposite direction, or perhaps jumping over the fence, might be a better option, no?

  • @InstaProds They panicked at the time. Their goal was to get their children away from him. Plus at the time they might not have been thinking about running the other way considering the thought that their children is being abducted

  • @InstaProds if you watched the film properly , you might have noticed that the girls said to the other worker at the fence that he should not go in the direction the kids later were running to with their moms, because the area they intended to reach was forbidden for males. Or is that logic too much for your brain to handle ?

    Better watch it twice, InstaProds.

  • @bozarte Everyone doesn't know their language. I had no idea what she was saying until you said it. That doesn't mean he's dumb or a bit too slow to understand he was askng a question...

  • @girlygurl3456 Hi, you have to read his other reply below towards me to understand my harsh reply.

But give it a go now. Great film, great actresses. A pity, that there is no sequel planned with them on the other book of Doris Pilkington, 'Under the Windamarra Tree', describing the life of Molly and Daisy as young adults. This would be perfect for Everlyn and Tianna to re-enter the scenes...

  • @bozarte I can't see it. There is another part? Interesting.

  • @bozarte this is a real story of curse there is no sequel!

  • @fiskenen yes, it is a realy story, but anyway Doris Pilkington wrote another book about what happened to Molly and Daisy when they became young women. That's why I called it a 'sequel'...

  • thank you so much for uploading this it is the most amazing quality i have ever seen for a youtube video :)

  • I love this movie
