i come from a family where its normal to either not breastfeed at all, or wean at 6 months.. when i was pregnant, they would tell me how a year is too old to breastfeed but now that i'm still nursing my daughter on demand, at 14 months, they're needing to change their opinions. it makes me so sad that women actually wean at 6 months... thats way too early, in my opinion. idealy, my daughter will wean herself... just like she should.
@bubbiz99 Hi Bubbiz! Your argument is very eloquent and logical. I also think it should be applied to other aspects of parenting children. I think if your child is old enough to ask to ride a bike, that it is definitely time to teach him to walk to McDonald's! And if your child is old enough to go hiking, he should certainly be swimming instead! And if your kid can ask for a drink, or a hug, or a kiss, then it's time to eliminate all those things also!
I love this video, it is absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for posting it. This is my go to video to share knowledge about extended breastfeeding. ♥Normalize it♥
i'm sorry but having a child that is able to talk and walk come up to you ask breast feed is not right. Now i do agree it's good to have a kid drink breast milk for a long time but what's the big difference between pumping the milk and giving it to them by bottle, not only does it help with the sexual issues but makes it better in public.
@angerdux8 the milk doesn't loose it's "magic" after one year, aside from being antibiotic, antimicrobial, antifungal, and full of antibodies perfectly matched to what the child has been exposed to at any given moment, the antibodies are received and manufactured in the breast and given at the same feeding they are discovered on the child's mouth, it improves the baby teeth placement and spacing, tongue and jaw development and millions of other things there is no room to say. :)
@willowtreephoto a child's immune system isn't fully functioning until 6 years old, exactly when the baby or "milk teeth" are falling out which is the signal of biological weaning.
@angerdux8 This is just an initial response, a full response may come later. The antibodies in the milk are created in the mother through her exposure to the same environments.
Year one is the medical standard of recommendation in this country. The milk is very healthy to a young child, there is no magic about it. Do you really need to know why so many kids in the 3rd world have ugly teeth? If you want to get into dental care that's a whole other issue. Why do so many British have bad teeth?
Watching this while my 23month old nurses, and she looked up, saw the picture of nursing tots and said "baby having milk from mommy. yum yum." So sweet. Thanks for sharing.
I have watched this video a few times over the years now. I just decided to become a lactation consultant when i "grow up." I learned a lot from this... partly because it is SO organized, thorough, and comprehensive. So excellent and sweet.
@willowtreephoto: Congratulations on your initiative and your obvious love and caring for your child's well being. Your actions, unfortunately, are a slap in the face of all those mothers that wand desperately to separate themselves from their childen and my opinion is that their actions can be seen at at the maturing of their children as there are so many neglected and otherwise troubled teenagers today. That could be prevented with something as simple as the mothers presence and love. Be well.
omg! its sooo hard to convince someone that it is the right thing to do! this video changed my opinion, but no one will even consider looking at it cuz they say they dont want to be "persuaded into something disgusting and morally wrong".... omg i hate ppl! lol.
I watched a video before this one that left me repulsed... A mother breastfeeding her 8 year old kid. I think I may have issues with it because I was sexually abused as a child, so naturally even some normal sexual practices seem repulsive to me. This video kind of helped change my views about breastfeeding. I have 3 kids, and am pregnant with my fourth.. I tried to breastfeed with no luck, and even after just trying to breastfeed my newborn baby.. I was left feeling conflicted about my body.
I'm glad the video of the 8 year old nursing sent you, my goal was to make a video about extending nursing that was nearly as popular as that one but without the "creepy" factor. Your situation is one of many that make the choice so important. For some women, using their breasts to nourish their children is healing and teaches them to value and love their bodies. Good luck on your journey, mothering 4!
If you decide to try to breastfeed your fourth child you should seek the help of an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). There are many reasons why breastfeeding may not be right for you, but there isn't any reason not to try again, if you want. An IBCLC can help to guide you the through the process, offer alternatives if you need them, and even counsel you through some of your emotional conflicts.Good luck with your pregnancy, birth, and (hopefully) breastfeeding.

i saw ur first video of a child breast feeding at 29 months and honestly i was completely repulsed, so i decided to look at your other stuff n found this and its changed my opinion completely. now i kno what ill do when i have kids!!!
@bribiechler1 I just want to say how impressed I am that you opened your mind to something different then you are used to. So many people on youtube go to videos of extended breastfeeding just to bash it and refuse to consider anything besides their opinions. Breastfeeding is really an incredible experience (albiet hard at times-but worth it if you can push through)! I wish you then best of luck if you choose to bf in the future! :-D
it's sad how many people think breastfeeding is gross, yet will regularly pump their kids (& themselves) full of cow lactate, which, when you really think about it, is pretty disgusting!! We are essentially using animals as wet-nurses...
breastfeeding up to 2 years of age and beyond is recommended! the message the above video is trying to convey is uninformed and totally ignorant!!! Breastfeeding toddlers is totally normal and natural, children can die from SIDS up till 2 years of age ,breastfeeding decreases the risk of sids by 73% ...a mother that chooses not to breastfeed her baby when she can is ignorant and selfish and obviously has some underlying sexual issues and body image problems and needs help
If you don't like the support that extended breastfeeding is getting from a person...stop watching bfing vids on the matter....solution seems simple enough. If someone doesn't support something, they typically don't go around watching things about it just to bash it. I myself have never bf past 8 months with my older children, but have decided to let my last baby (8+ months) to choose...and she shows no signs of slowing down. (ps...she can already ask for it ;) )
@motherhen1982 Doesn't it occur to you that breastfeeding past age 3 is socially inappropriate and that women who prefer to breastfeed DISCREETLY have a voice in this issue as well? I don't like it when I am dining out with my husband and some woman pulls out her entire breast and lets her preschooler squeal disruptively, as the child toys with the leaking, exposed breast. Sorry. We are not chimps. Should we mate in public because it's natural?
@angerdux8 If YOU have a problem with mothers feeding their babies in public, then YOU can decide not to look, YOU can decide to leave. Why on earth would I have to deny my child breast milk because YOU have an issue with it? And why on earth wouldn't I be entitled to feed my baby on demand the same as a bottle fed baby?? What in the world does mating have to do with breastfeeding? I am feeding my child, NOT HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE!! The fact that YOU have sexualized indicates your perversion
@MyLilPookieBear If you are breastfeeding discreetly, there is no issue. If it is not possible to breastfeed discreetly, use a pump and bottle feed. Breastfeeding is supposed to be an intimate bonding experience between mother and child, not a public exhibition. The true perversion is on the part of the mother who won't wean her toddler. Pediatricians generally agree that children should be weaned before age 2, that health benefits are met by that age.So why continue? And in public no less.
@angerdux8 Breastfeeding is about meeting a child's needs. The fact that you feel uncomfortable with it is 100% your problem. I don't know of a single reputable pediatrician who encourages weaning before a child is ready. In fact, most pediatricians follow the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics which encourage breastfeeding for AT LEAST one year or longer. Surgeon General is quoted as saying "It is a lucky child who nurses into his third year." Look it up.
@MyLilPookieBear I am not uncomfortable with breast feeding so long as it is done discreetly and respectfully. Did I not say pediatricians advise weaning by age 2? Age 2 precedes age 1 when last I checked. There is significant peer reviewed study on the cognitive disadvantages of breast feeding a toddler during critical periods in development, when the child should be moving toward autonomy. The Surgeon General is just a political appointment, not the definitve voice in child development.
@angerdux8 I will agree with you with respect to the Surgeon General's position. However, I am more interested in what you can offer as far as research and science. Can you provide me with links to these studies? I have also sent you a private message with more information from the AAP. Truly interesting stuff!
@angerdux8 I am still scouring the internet, looking for these studies that you speak of & came across this one interesting study on extended nursing. In its conclusion notes, it states "No empirical study to date has demonstrated that extended nursing is harmful, but a number of previously cited studies have found benefits. Therefore, practitioners can be confident in supporting mothers who choose to nurse their children into toddlerhood and beyond." I will provide the link upon request.
@angerdux8 Okay, so far the only thing I can find that even remotely supports your argument is an outdated Freud theory of oral stage fixation. According to Wikepedia's cited sources, this view is generally not supported by most psychiatrists, psychologists, health professionals, etc. Especially in light that none of his theories have been proven. In fact, the opposite...that the longer a child nurses, the more the emotional and physical benefits.
Can you delete ALL your misinformed comments here? Not just to those who threaten you? You obviously have too much time on your hands, dear sir. Remember, ignorance is a choice. So is cowardice.
@MyLilPookieBear It is sad that so many people in our society have no knowledge of the benefits of breastfeeding, let alone the benefits of extended breastfeeding... :-(
@Horselo285 I agree, very sad. What I find even more disheartening is why people who haven't done the research, or who disagree feel the need to continually expose themselves to these videos and then bash them. If they don't like it, why search for and even respond?? Or worse post misinformation. For these people, the solution is simple. Put a blanket over your head and quit watching breastfeeding videos. Strange that they seem more obsessed with breastfeeding than even me.
Also, there was another study brought to light recently that showed that exclusivly breastfed children were 73% less likely to die from SIDS. That is a HUGE percentage. I believe your research is quite outdated...I can find articles that are not current stating some of the things your said but all the studies from the past few years seem to show what I have stated.
As far as motor skills- can you please site any studies that show that children have less motor skills due to late-term breastfeeding? I have never heard of such a thing and have not seen it with my family, the many bf women I know or the MANY women on breastfeeding sites I go to. Actually I just googled extended breastfeeding and motorskills and have only found articles stating the opposite. That extended breastfeeding helps with the development of motorskills.
It wont let me post a link- but discover magazine has an article and if you google it you will find more. Also, BM has pretty much the same ingredients no matter what you eatt. It has been found that there is little/no difference between mothers on significantly different diets hence why a woman who can barely get any food can still feed her child. A woman who eats healthy is benefiting herself more then her child.
Not true- breastmilk contains Natural DHA which contibutes to brain development, although that is not as well studied as the other things I have mentioned. There were recent studies posted on breastmilk killing cancer cells. Studies apparently began years ago but are only now really surfacing. I actually just read an article on my phone (news section, under health) last week that discussed the cancer killing power of BM If you google it you can find info. (cont)
After the age of 2 children develop their own motor skills to begin the 18 year medical dependence walk from child to adult. These motor skills need to be encouraged not discouraged by late stage breast feeding. I see the comments about how late stagers are so well adjusted. These personal stories are NOT medical information and until they undergo testing they only provide anecdotal evidence which is NOT science...
@pdwd88 Please read the msgs I posted below this- I couldnt get them to work if I tagged you before- but I just wanted to let you know I replied back. I hope you will do some research on the info I provided. I also hope that if you can find any current studies that prove your theories that you will tell me how to find them. There are a lot of myths about breastfeeding that have been proven untrue and lots of new info that has shown its benefits.
@Horselo285 I have seen you on SEVERAL bf-ing vids now and I have to respectfully ask you: PLEASE stop with your persistent and vocal support of extended breastfeeding. OK? Just stop voicing so much support for it. OK?
@Fasuki1 um..NO I ABSOLUTELY will not. I will express my opinion and perspective just as anyone else on this site does. If you dont like it then DONT read it. I 100% SUPPORT extended breastfeeding and I will CONTINUE to say so.
Additionally, no known chemical except arsenic, and the chemicals in medical drugs are known to kill cancer cells. Horselo285 claims breast milk can kill up to 40 kinds of cancer cells. This is false. Cancer is not dependent on anything organic save for its own self-limiting nature. Breast milk is the by product of what the mother eats and not the magical product of voodoo cancer cell killing myth. It has one purpose: provide nutrients babies cannot gather on their own.
First point, I.Q. is genetic (Nature NOT nurture). There are no studies that have ever concluded that an I.Q. can be artificially increased under any circumstances ever. That is a lie much like the vitamin lie, the homeopathic medicine lie and others like it that are close to being panaceas. If you want your child to be smarter breast feeding will not increase their ability to learn, breast milk contains no components that can do this. Brain development is pre-set by genes...
It's hard to understand how anyone with two brain cells to rub together could equate breastfeeding to child abuse under any circumstances. Are there really people out there that are THAT ignorant?
Can I just say in regards to all the negative comments- I was breastfed until 3. I was a happy, healthy child, I grew into a happy and healthy adult. I am successful and independent. I am NOT over sexualized. I CAN remember breastfeeding and it does not bother me one bit. Bre asts are meant to feed your children. They are no more sexual (in my opinion) the your arm or foot they are meant to feed my baby.
I know a woman who breastfed her three children (two girls, one boy) for what so many people seem to consider to be a very long time (four or five years). Human milk is for humans, cow milk is for cows. Formula was developed for corporate greed. Breastfed children have proved to be healthier, and my friends' kids certainly turned out well. And no one has any complaints about the warn, convenient, and attractive containers Mom's milk comes in! I still try to breastfeed as often as possible.
It seems that the right questions are not being asked thus no convincing evidence or good answers will be supplied. In an mass media culture like ours every idea can be altered, changed, or sustained. If the right information is researched then one can suppose something to be right or not lest we as humans become ignorant as you so assume.
The question is not should women be allowed to, but instead what is the evolutionary benefit for mothers to do this? Does this learned behavior of breast feeding (it is learned by the way) create an atmosphere in which mothers consider their own or their child's needs first? Is the long term breast feeding of young necessary for survival to the age of reproduction and does it impede this reproduction? Is this part of the same psychology mothers use to not give immunizations to children?
technocracy* has limited our ability to live naturally in the world. Thinks like extended breast feeding are not the result of biological pressures but social ones created by the excess of technology. What do I mean? Case in point: the green revolution; this is extremely relevant to the access to abundant food. With the increase in goods less time is spent searching for food, gathering materials, and ultimately raising young.
@pdwd88 I have never heard of any studies that show that you shouldn't breastfeed toddlers...quite the opposite. Now, toddlers do NOT get bf exclusively...they also get solids but the milk they are give has MANY benefits. Breastmilk changes to support the immune system of toddlers, it has ingredients that help to build higher IQ's and it has recently been shown to kill at LEAST 40 types of cancer cells. Why wouldnt you give that to your child as long as possible?
Also, to continue, a breast feeding woman biologically NEEDS to stop at an early stage in development. Let us suppose these women live in the wild in a more "perfect" state for evolution. At this point it is extremely risky for not only the child but also the mother to continue to breast feed after 2. The child MUST learn to walk and fend for itself in some small way else both mother and child become less likely to live on to reproduce. At some point we must acknowledge that technocracy* ->
I don't understand...There is an enormous body of work just in the last 20 years that shows breast feeding into the toddler years causes the slow down of social development. The same studies show that these late term breast feeding mothers had dependency issues relating to their own childhood (where the data was available or the mother allowed herself an evaluation). Personally I see anything past the age of 1 to be a bit too far in the sense that the mother can no longer provide nutrition.
I think toddler nursing is a beautiful, normal expression of love between mom and child. To those who think its gross- your ancestors breastfed their toddlers for years because this has been normal throughout history around the world...and still is in many countries! Too bad not in America, where we are supposed to be more educated.

Breastfeeding is beautiful. This video shows exactly my thoughts. Thank you so much for making this. I'm posting it on my blog so that more can see it.
@willowtreephoto again, please block and delete domram because he's disturbed. To anyone else trying to argue with this fool, please stop, he's just looking to repeat the same argument over and over on an internet platform where he can remain anonymous and feel some strange version of social interaction. Very sad, but also very disturbed!
WHAT THE HELL IS WITH YOU AND GIRLS ALL YOUR POSTS NEVER MENTION THE BABY BOYS WHO NURSE WHICH IS ODD BECAUSE BOYS ARE THE OPPISITE SEX FROM THEIR MOMS SO WOULDNT THAT BE WHAT YOU SHOULD TALK ABOUT???? WHATS WITH YOU AND GIRLS? YOU SICK BASTARD YOU LIKE LITTLE GIRLS DONT YOU????? IF I EVER CAUGHT YOU OGGLING MY DAUGHTER I WOULD BEAT THE SH#T OUT OF YOU I WOULD BASH YOUR HEAD IN YOU DISCUSTING LOW LIFE!!!!!!!!
Honestly you sick male pediphiles more than likely wouldnt get so horny over kids if you gave birth to 4 in painfull labor while a group of nurses and doctors watch you push a F@#$ing 10lb child out of your small vaginal hole with NO DRUGS because its what is best for your child the sacrifice involved in being a good mom is unbelieveable!! Something YOU couldnt possibly understand I would die for any one of my kids in fact i would do ANYTHING in this world to protect them from those like YOU
There is a huge range of variation in the amount of oxytocin hormone secreted when different moms breastfeed. To say that a mom who secretes more oxytocin is a pedophile is as logical as saying a runner who gets a lot of endorphins after a run is a drug addict. Simply not true. Deny it all you want but orgasms and breastfeeding BOTH cause a spike of oxytocin, for some people more than others. It's simple biology. Setting a standard of "normal" for others and judging them is immature and cruel.
@PaddiePaws IT IS PURE PEDOPHILIA because it is an infant, toddler or child that is causing ADULT WOMEN sexual arousal and wet secretions during the fondling and suckling of their breasts and nipples while breast feeding. Feeling sexual arousal is having sex.
@domram12 You ignorant idiot. I think you need to grow up. Breastfeeding is one of the most natural things in the world. In fact women have been breastfeeding thousands of years before formula was invented!
@death26row Yes breastfeeding is natural and when women become sexually aroused with wet secretions and clitoral engorments THAT IS NO DIFFERENT than when men become sexually aroused with erections except for women's sexual arousal is FAR GREATER and for longer periods of time compared to the weaker sex and when a baby, toddler or child causes this during breastfeeding such women are PEDOPHILES and YOU CANNOT WIN THIS ARGUMENT WITH ME SO GIVE UP.
@domram12 i have breastfed 4 kids each till they were 2yrs old (2 daughters and 2 sons) is it weird that i find breasts exspecialy mine to have no sexual purpose at all they are like giant bags of fat that make milk and feed babies they really have no other purpose they are not sexual...... Would a man be aroused if someone fondled and sucked on his big fat hairy man boobs lmao (almost puked while writing that one) seriosly dude it seems like you are grasping at straws here..
@death26row Because the government allow women to be pedophiles during the fondling and suckling of their breasts by allowing them to become sexually aroused with wet secretions and when women feel that way, they are in fact HAVING SEX while the feeding of the breasts.
@death26row Breastfeeding will not be banned because the government allow women to be pedophiles during the fondling and suckling of their breasts by allowing them to become sexually aroused with wet secretions and when women feel that way, they are in fact HAVING SEX while breastfeeding. There are many diffeent ways to have sex and its not only intercourse. Feeling sexual arousal is also having sex and if an infant, toddler or child causes this for women while breastfeeding its PEDOPHILIA.
My guess is you are either part of some stupid sexist religion or have no wife or children and you clearly never understood what sex is... trust me sucking a nipple does not mean you have had sex!!! and im pretty sure women do not get sexually aroused when feeding a there own baby... womens breasts naturally lactate when they are pregnant this does not need to be in conjunction with sexual arousment!! you fool!
@domram12@domram12 i have breastfed 4 kids each till they were 2yrs old (2 daughters and 2 sons) is it weird that i find breasts exspecialy mine to have no sexual purpose at all they are like giant bags of fat that make milk and feed babies they really have no other purpose they are not sexual...... Also, I'm extremely happy I live in Canada where a woman can breastfeed wherever she wants. It's the law. If a business asks you to leave, "cover up", or "use the washroom" they get hit with a fine, lawsuit, or my personal favourite, a nurse-in!
What a beautiful video. I have a 16-month-old son who adores breastfeeding and I don't see him weaning any time soon. He gets so excited when he sees my shirt going up and is playful, and almost renewed when he's finished.
I try not to pay any attention to the people who believe breastfeeding beyond a certain point is "gross", "abuse", etc. I DON'T pay ANY attention to those who think breastfeeding in general is unnatural.
WHY DON'T YOU ALL ASK 2 ADULT LESBIANS what they feel when they touch, fondle, squeeze, lick and suck on their jiggly big tits and erected nipples. They will tell you they feel pure lust and orgasms(and so do I when watching this kind of porno). But if a 3 or 11 year old girl causes this for women during breastfeeding, such women are pedophiles, stop denying this fact.

@domram12 umm, at what point in the video did it state that a woman is sexually aroused in this kind of manner? wheres the groping and fondling come into play with breast feeding? Furthermore, what do lesbians have to do with breastfeeding? Could you not say the same about a man and woman? You need to give your head a shake and go back to your puritan colony. What kind of redneck uses their porn preference to back up their insulence based comments? Go read a medical journal and get an education!
@bubblysoda86 I'm on dial up and it takes too long for a video to load so I never watched it. My response is in general to breastfeeding women. A large percentage of women reported SEXUAL AROUSAL with WET SECRETIONS and CLITORAL ENGORGMENTS during the fondling and suckling of their breasts caused by an infant, toddler or child while breastfeeding and the government and most people are not admitting its PEDOPHILIA when IN FACT IT IS.
@domram12 again, where do you get your facts? none of these are even stated in this video. @willotreephoto please block domram12 as he's obviously misinformed as well as deranged. @domram12, it will become my personal vendetta to block you from youtube.
@bubblysoda86 ITS NOT ME PROVIDING THESE FACTS women themselves have reported feeling sexual arousal with wet secretions during breastfeeding. You need to do some research on the internet because you're ignorant and in denial of this fact and I have the knowledge.
@domram12 Honestly you sick male pediphiles more than likely wouldnt get so horny over kids if you gave birth to 4 in painfull labor while a group of nurses and doctors watch you push a F@#$ing 10lb child out of your small vagina with NO DRUGS because its what is best for your child the sacrifice involved in being a good mom is unbelieveable!! While I am not comfortable with EBF I do plan to continue to pump my milk for my child as long as possible and I do understand why and how certain people choose to EBF.
I just think its weird to feed out kids cow milk..I mean cows milk is for baby cows, people milk is for baby people lol.
I love your video, my son is currently 8.5 months old and is still breastfeeding strong =) We 'plan' to continue for as long as we can... I hate the stigma surrounding breastfeeding and I try my best to educate where I can, this is a lovely video doing the same!
SO WHAT IF A WOMAN didn't want to breastfeed at that time but wanted a shoulder or back rub from a 9 year old girl causing the woman to feel sexual arousal, WOULD THAT ALSO BE LEGAL? WOULD A MAN HAVE THAT SAME LEGAL RIGHT, or would the government send him to prison for 10 years? SO ONLY WOMEN will be able to get away with being PEDOPHILES due to their engorged clitoris THAT NO ONE CAN SEE through their clothing when they are fully sexually aroused.
@domram12 you most likely wouldnt be so aroused by children if you took care of 4 under 6yr olds 24/7 i tell you there is nothing sexy or atractive about small people that do nothing but scream, mess up your house, and SH#T ALOT ALL OVER YOUR HOUSE the smaller ones puke to in fact all my 6mo. old does is puke, (has reflux) Nurse(which is annoying as hell, GET OFF MY F#$%ING BODY), S#!T (which often leaks out and gets on me EEWW) and crawl around messing up my house with the other 3. GET A LIFE!
SO IN ORDER FOR A WOMAN TO BREASTFEED PROPERLY a baby or girl must cause a woman to become wet with lust, sexual arousal, cum and orgasms during the fondling and suckling of the breasts or the milk wouldn't flow out properly. This clearly proves for a fact that breastfeeding of a baby or child is 100% PEDOPHILIA.
SO YOU'RE SAYING NATURE INTENDED WOMEN AND MOMS TO BE PEDOPHILES because nature intended women and moms to breastfeed and become sexually aroused as a baby or girl fondles and suckles on their erected nipples and breasts. SO THATS WHY THE LAW allows women and moms to be PEDOPHILES during breastfeeding because nature intended it to be that way.
@domram12 WHAT THE HELL IS WITH YOU AND GIRLS ALL YOUR POSTS NEVER MENTION THE BABY BOYS WHO NURSE WHICH IS ODD BECAUSE BOYS ARE THE OPPISITE SEX FROM THEIR MOMS SO WOULDNT THAT BE WHAT YOU SHOULD TALK ABOUT???? WHATS WITH YOU AND GIRLS? YOU SICK BASTARD YOU LIKE LITTLE GIRLS DONT YOU????? @FaithHopeLoveMommy I DON'T ENGAGE IN PEDOPHILIA like women do by admitting that they become sexually aroused with wet secretions by the fondling and suckling of their jiggly breasts and nipples. They are the pedophiles and i'm not, including the women who are set free in 1 day by the law after molesting some young teen when men are HANGED in the courts for doing the same thing. So why is there a double standard? is it because women are more pretty and sensuous and not capable of rape?
@domram12 Do you just stalk videos of breastfeeding women and make awful negative comments every moment of your life? You are missinformed, misguided, disgusting and perverted. I am sick of seeing your horrible comments in regards to women feeding there children.
@domram12 the same hormones are present when a woman is breastfeeding or orgasming, these are reward hormones that encourage a behavior. sexual gratification and the gratification from breastfeeding are different but not as different as you may think.
TO willowtreephoto- YUP, AND THAT CLEARLY PROVES THESE WOMEN AND MOMS ARE PEDOPHILES because it is a baby or girl that is causing them to become sexually aroused with lust during breastfeeding. YOU SAID IT!!!!
@domram12 the same hormones are present when a woman is breastfeeding or orgasming, these are reward hormones that encourage a behavior. sexual gratification and the gratification from breastfeeding are different but not as different as you may think.

@domram12 So, after watching that awesome video, that is all you got from it? You associate an endorphin rush with sexual arousal? It's true, many of the same hormones and neurotransmitters take part--but it's a completely different event, a different LOVE. If you're just going to spout off ignorant comments, why did you even watch this? It's fine to have your own opinions, no one will take that away. At least come with intelligence rather than the mess you've got going on.
@kfl230@kfl230 STOP HIDING FROM THE TRUTH U MAN HATER. You are just like the government in complete DENIAL of the fact that it is BABIES AND CHILDREN causing SEXUAL AROUSAL AND LUST for these PEDOPHILE women and moms during the FONDLING AND SUCKLING of their breasts, thus that makes this a 100% PEDOPHILIA ACT and makes them 100% PEDOPHILES. WHY DON'T YOU ASK 2 ADULT LESBIANS WHAT THEY FEEL when they fondle, touch, lick and suckle on each other's big tits and erected nipples. THEY FEEL PURE LUST.
@domram12 You are disgusting and after clicking on your name and reading your page i have come to the conclusion that you are a pediphile who is trying to normalize your feelings by telling your self that other woman feel the same as you but you are wrong because as a nursing mom of 4 i have to say i have NEVER felt anything sexual while nursing all the hormones do is relax you and make you sleepy they may cause you to feel a loving bond with your child but they dont stimulate your sex organs!
@FaithHopeLoveMommy In a 2000 survey 40.5% women reported feeling sexual arousal at some point and 16.6% reported feeling sexual arousal at a continued basis while breastfeeding of a baby or girl and these women are pedophiles because its a baby or child causing them to feel sexual arousal and not another adult and it makes no difference if they did not intend to feel this way, its still a child causing them to feel lust and not another adult.
@domram12@domram12 just for the record i would much perfer it if my husband and my roles were reversed it really really isnt fair that "woman" have to stay at home and nurse babies all F#$%ing day with no real adult human interaction outside of the phone which is like a life line to us woman while men get to go to work talked to other adult people have friends and be human then we have to read some NASTY male pediphile online saying we are so F@#$ing blessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@domram12 So, after watching that awesome video, that is all you got from it? You associate an endorphin rush with only sexual arousal? It's true, many of the same hormones and neurotransmitters take part--but it's a completely different event, a different LOVE. If you're just going to spout off ignorant comments, why did you even watch this? It's fine to have your own opinions, no one will take that away. At least come with intelligence rather than the mess you've got going on.
@kfl230 STOP HIDING FROM THE TRUTH U MAN HATER. You are just like the government in complete DENIAL of the fact that it is BABIES AND CHILDREN causing SEXUAL AROUSAL AND LUST for these PEDOPHILE women and moms during the FONDLING AND SUCKLING of their breasts, thus that makes this a PEDOPHILIA ACT and makes them 100% PEDOPHILES. WHY DON'T YOU ASK TWO ADULT LESBIANS WHAT THEY FEEL when they fondle, touch, lick and suckle on each other's big bouncy tits and erected nipples. THEY FEEL PURE LUST!!!!
@willowtreephoto YUP, AND THAT CLEARLY PROVES THESE WOMEN AND MOMS ARE PEDOPHILES because it is a baby or girl that is causing them to feel sexual arousal and lust during breastfeeding.
@willowtreephoto LET ME CHECK THE LAW BOOK....YUP, IT CLEARLY SAYS if a child comes into physical contact with an adult causing the adult to become sexually aroused with lust then that is a pedophilia act and such adults are pedophiles and it makes no difference if the adult is breastfeeding or recieving a shoulder rub.
@DoomDom There is nothing common or normal about being a female pediphile and you are disgusting and are trying to dirty a loving selfless act that bonds a child to their mom making them feel loved, safe and secure and it is highly highly uncommon for a mother to gain sexual pleasure from nursing a baby/toddler let alone gain an orgasm from it and im pretty sure to those moms that expierenced such they quit nursing because it makes them feel uncomfortable there is nothing sexual about babies!!
@willowtreephoto its hard for women(like me) to change their sexual habit. Like when i use the vibrator I cant cum any other way. That explains why alot of women continue breastfeeding when the kid is over 3 years old and some cant stop even when the kid reaches 6.
@willowtreephoto Ignore Domram. He makes the same comments on every single breastfeeding video. On a different note. Awesome video and I loved 2 years and beyond. My daughter is sleeping next to me. Happy nurser. Sorry it is late at night so my thoughts become sporadic.
@domram12 I am a mother of 4 children who has been breastfeeding for 4 1/2years straight i weaned my 2nd child at 2 when i gave birth to my 3rd whom i weaned shortly after my 4th childs birth Now I honestly must tell you breastfeeding a child is a selfless act it is tiring, time consuming, and a drain on my body. I do not feel anything sexual while nursing in fact when nursing toddlers i felt highly agitated like i wanted to scream and run away it made my skin crawl and i do not allow fondling
Here are the 2 most ignorant statements I hear people repeating over and over and it sounds so Old School: 1) If they are old enough to ask for it and they have teeth, it's over" 2) There is no nutritional value after age 1... and the most recent ignorant comment is that Moms are causing them to become dependant. Most recent finding all over the Internet is that it's the opposite - they become more Independant when breastfed during the toddler years.
This video is incredibly beautiful. It even made me cry. People fear what they do not know. My hope is that others will choose to acknowledge the facts about breastfeeding. Perhaps then it would be embraced by more people.
Bahaha!! Who the hell thought that breast feeding your children is abuse? :P I'm fairly certain that neglecting to feed your children at all is abuse.
Just wanted to say thank you for creating this video!
My son is going to be two years old on the 20th and he still nurses 2-3 times a day. I feel like having made it this far though all the complications I had nursing I should be proud and happy, but people (even family and friends) end up making me feel ashamed or that I am damaging my son by doing so.
Every time I watch this video, I feel proud of myself and glad that I stuck with it. Thank you so so so much. :)
@SpookyBubbleTea Please keep in mind the most recent finding all over the Internet which is that breastfeeding a toddler helps them become more Independant so be proud. Stopping b/f before they are ready makes them dependant and afraid.
Respect to you. You obvious understand the benefits of giving your child breastmilk. Authors on the subject agree that breastfeeding your child until the age of two is the best. I can't wait to have children so that my wife and I give our child the best in nutrition and environment.
Its a beautiful video. I am currently breastfeeding my son 9 months and still going strong, I plan to get to 1 and then aim for 2 and see how it goes.
I think its a shame that people are unable to remember that breasts are for feeding babies not pleasing men.
@matthlock Saddest thing I heard in work recently was a colleague who said she was bottlefeeding for the following reason: she doesn't want her breasts to sag - she completely believes the myth that breastfeeding sags breasts and also believes breasts exist for sex only not babies. Even the other bottlefeeding mums didn't know what to say, so the subject changed. She's a big fan of Jordan (Katie Price) who once said on radio that breastfeeding is completely unnatural and shouldn't be done.
I breastfeed my baby., His first teeth started to appear at 3 months, which I felt was too soon to stop. I originally intended to breastfeed to 6 months, that came and went. So we thought about stopping at 1 year. That has come and gone. We are now at 14 months, and having morning & night (and sometimes in between) feeds at home. Will see what happens when we get to 2 years. :-)
Thank you for this!! I'm still breastfeeding my 17 month old daughter and people give me grief all the time about it! Now that I found out I'm pregnant again my mom asked me if I was going to stop now - she was shocked when I said NO.
I agree with most of the video.. Yes Im a breastfeeding mother of my 3rd child but first time successfully breastfeeding mom .. I would agree that breast milk is the best for baby, and that it is wonderful thing for baby and mom, but beyond a year to two years of age for me.. ( FOR ME personally) is just a bit much for me.. but I do believe each to their own.. and whatever makes you happy
This is such an awesome video! Thanks so much for doing what yo can dispell the stigma assosiated with extended breastfeeding and highten awareness about it's benefits. We need to get this message out! I am personally going to do my best to show this vid to as many people as I possibly can. Thanks again! :)
I love this video! I don't know where people get the idea that once a child has teeth or is one year old that breastmilk suddenly stops being the best food for them. I started getting teeth at 2 months old and was breastfed until I was 15 months old... my son started getting teeth at about 6 months old and will be breastfed until he and I no longer wish to.
@prulory LET ME CHECK THE LAW BOOK....YUP, IT CLEARLY SAYS if a child comes into physical contact with an adult causing the adult to become sexually aroused with lust then that is a pedophilia act and such adults are pedophiles and it makes no difference if the adult is breastfeeding or recieving a shoulder rub.
I know this video was posted a long time ago but I want to comment anyway. I have no children, but I want kids desperately( I am nineteen). Breastfeeding is a beautiful thing, it bonds you to your child. I am nervous about EBF, though I want to. It follows the natural ebb and flow of what your child wants and needs which I LOVE. But socially...It worries me. I do not want ridicule to follow my children, how do EBF mothers acclimate to an environment that now looks sideways at a natural event?
@OpiumPawala educate! your friends, family, children, neighbors, co workers ect. don't hide breastfeeding because ignorant people say it's gross, do it proudly and stand behind what you know to be true and right.
@OpiumPawala - Just give them the finger :) lol jk, but seriously, I can't understand why anyone would think it is their right to tell a mom that she is breastfeeding too long. Who the hell are they anyway? As willowtreephoto said, EDUCATE them. If they criticize, smile and SCHOOL those people.
@OpiumPawala Breastfeeding is amazing, it is such a beautiful experience - though draining at times - for mother and baby. I breastfed both my children to around 1 years of age. A lot of people think extended breastfeeding refers only to children 2 and over but many women these days don't breastfeed past 6 months. You will know when to stop as your child & body will tell you. Anyone else's opinion is irrelevant.
@OpiumPawala How old do you plan to do EBF because society is more open to 2 years old and I know plenty of people who go up to 3 years of age. I think after 3 is when you really get judged so if you are only planning until 3 years then you are fine. Also, after 2 you can teach them to only ask for it in private so it's not even like people need to know.
@OpiumPawala Personally, when I nurse in public, I don't really look at other people. I talk to my kids, read, shop, or do something on my phone. So, if anybody is giving me looks, I wouldn't know anyways! lol I look at nursing in public as my duty. I will be a lactivist my whole life, but nursing in public is the MOST important thing I can to normalize breastfeeding, and it's the thing I can do for the shortest part of my life! So, I take advantage of every opportunity to do it!
I love this video. Everyone has the right to choose what works best for them but I think this is really beautiful. (Plus I'd like to know what people think mothers did before sippy cups were invented!) Well done for making a stand.
I love this video. The age of weaning children has varied throughout time; if it were 'natural' this would not be the case - instead early weaning has become 'normal' (and therefore a 'moral imperative' for Western women). Plus I would like to know what people thought mothers did before sippy cups were invented! I think everyone has the right to choose what works best for them and think this video is really beautiful.
I LOVE this beautiful video!I am currently tandem nursing My soon to be 3 year old and my 9 month old.It is totally possible and RIGHt to BF your child when they get teeth. Some babies get teeth at 3 months! Why would you take away their comfort and nourishment and put formula(yuck) or pumped milk in a synthetic, cold bottle? That would be so hard on a baby.I have 4 children and we practice baby led weaning,.Good luck and blessings to all the BFing Mama's and supporters out there.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I agree all children should be breast fed but when a child gets teeth it is time to stop breast feeding and give them a bottle with breast milk in it. Thats my opinion.
@JMDMBM i am going to assume that you haven't breastfed a child. once you do, you will understand how much unnecessary work that is. when a child is breastfeeding when their baby (milk) teeth are coming in, they are 40% less likely to need orthodontics than if they were not breastfeeding or especially if bottle feeding.
@willowtreephoto wow!!! I did not know that!! and it makes so much sense!! my older brother was Breast fed till he was 3? and my me and my middle brother were fed only a few months. Actually I was fed for one months only. and me and my middle brother's teeth came our really crooked and my older brother has a perfect!! PERFECT smile! no braces!
@JMDMBM - Why create another step for yourself between breastmilk and your child???Breastfeeding is so much more convenient! Plus, the kid might fight it and you'd be causing a bigger problem for yourself than if you let them wean naturally.
@JMDMBM My children got teeth starting at 4 months. I breastfeed both till they were about 1 when they started to walk. 4 - 6 months when many babies get teeth is too early to expect mothers to stop.
@JMDMBM 2 of my children had teeth by 4.5 months, had never had a bottle and would not take one. Below the recommended age for introducing any solid foods, practically newborn. Breast-fed babies do not bite their mothers as a continued thing. My one year old has bitten me (mildly) 2 times, as and experiment when she first got teeth. I removed her from nursing, told her that hurts mommy, and she has never done it again, My older 3 children were the same, I have maybe been bitten 6 times total.
My son is 21 months and still breastfeeding with no sign of weaning anytime soon. Breastfeeding is natural beautiful and normal. The average weaning age across the globe is 4 spanning from 2-7 as a guideline. Funny how women are never chastised for weaning before 1 or 2 but are so harshly judged by surpassing the MINIMUM suggestion. The only thing perverted is the average American perception.

i come from a family where its normal to either not breastfeed at all, or wean at 6 months.. when i was pregnant, they would tell me how a year is too old to breastfeed but now that i'm still nursing my daughter on demand, at 14 months, they're needing to change their opinions. it makes me so sad that women actually wean at 6 months... thats way too early, in my opinion. idealy, my daughter will wean herself... just like she should.

If your kid can get on his bike and ride to McDonalds for a happy meal, it may be time to wean him.
bubbiz99 2 months ago

willowtreephoto 3 months ago

@willowtreephoto: Congratulations on your initiative and your obvious love and caring for your child's well being. Your actions, unfortunately, are a slap in the face of all those mothers that wand desperately to separate themselves from their childen and my opinion is that their actions can be seen at at the maturing of their children as there are so many neglected and otherwise troubled teenagers today. That could be prevented with something as simple as the mothers presence and love. Be well.

MandiSamara 6 months ago

@bribiechler1 I just want to say how impressed I am that you opened your mind to something different then you are used to. So many people on youtube go to videos of extended breastfeeding just to bash it and refuse to consider anything besides their opinions. it's sad how many people think breastfeeding is gross, yet will regularly pump their kids (& themselves) full of cow lactate, which, when you really think about it, is pretty disgusting!!

(ps...she can already ask for it ;) )
motherhen1982 7 months ago 7
@motherhen1982 Doesn't it occur to you that breastfeeding past age 3 is socially inappropriate and that women who prefer to breastfeed DISCREETLY have a voice in this issue as well? I don't like it when I am dining out with my husband and some woman pulls out her entire breast and lets her preschooler squeal disruptively, as the child toys with the leaking, exposed breast. Sorry. We are not chimps. Should we mate in public because it's natural?
angerdux8 5 months ago
@angerdux8 I agree with you, i think that's a big reason we should put breast milk in bottles, it makes it a lot better for everyone around
3headedpuppy 3 months ago
@angerdux8 If YOU have a problem with mothers feeding their babies in public, then YOU can decide not to look, YOU can decide to leave. Why on earth would I have to deny my child breast milk because YOU have an issue with it? And why on earth wouldn't I be entitled to feed my baby on demand the same as a bottle fed baby?? What in the world does mating have to do with breastfeeding? I am feeding my child, NOT HAVING SEXUAL INTERCOURSE!! The fact that YOU have sexualized indicates your perversion
MyLilPookieBear 2 months ago
@MyLilPookieBear If you are breastfeeding discreetly, there is no issue. If it is not possible to breastfeed discreetly, use a pump and bottle feed. Breastfeeding is supposed to be an intimate bonding experience between mother and child, not a public exhibition. The true perversion is on the part of the mother who won't wean her toddler. Pediatricians generally agree that children should be weaned before age 2, that health benefits are met by that age.So why continue? And in public no less.
angerdux8 2 months ago
@angerdux8 Breastfeeding is about meeting a child's needs. The fact that you feel uncomfortable with it is 100% your problem. I don't know of a single reputable pediatrician who encourages weaning before a child is ready. In fact, most pediatricians follow the recommendation of the American Academy of Pediatrics which encourage breastfeeding for AT LEAST one year or longer. Surgeon General is quoted as saying "It is a lucky child who nurses into his third year." Look it up.
MyLilPookieBear 2 months ago
@MyLilPookieBear I am not uncomfortable with breast feeding so long as it is done discreetly and respectfully. Did I not say pediatricians advise weaning by age 2? Age 2 precedes age 1 when last I checked. There is significant peer reviewed study on the cognitive disadvantages of breast feeding a toddler during critical periods in development, when the child should be moving toward autonomy. The Surgeon General is just a political appointment, not the definitve voice in child development.
angerdux8 2 months ago
@angerdux8 I will agree with you with respect to the Surgeon General's position. However, I am more interested in what you can offer as far as research and science. Can you provide me with links to these studies? I have also sent you a private message with more information from the AAP. Truly interesting stuff!
MyLilPookieBear 2 months ago
@angerdux8 I am still scouring the internet, looking for these studies that you speak of & came across this one interesting study on extended nursing. In its conclusion notes, it states "No empirical study to date has demonstrated that extended nursing is harmful, but a number of previously cited studies have found benefits. Therefore, practitioners can be confident in supporting mothers who choose to nurse their children into toddlerhood and beyond." I will provide the link upon request.
MyLilPookieBear 2 months ago
@angerdux8 Okay, so far the only thing I can find that even remotely supports your argument is an outdated Freud theory of oral stage fixation. According to Wikepedia's cited sources, this view is generally not supported by most psychiatrists, psychologists, health professionals, etc. Especially in light that none of his theories have been proven. In fact, the opposite...that the longer a child nurses, the more the emotional and physical benefits.

MyLilPookieBear 1 month ago
Also, there was another study brought to light recently that showed that exclusivly breastfed children were 73% less likely to die from SIDS. That is a HUGE percentage. I believe your research is quite outdated...I can find articles that are not current stating some of the things your said but all the studies from the past few years seem to show what I have stated.
Horselo285 7 months ago
As far as motor skills- can you please site any studies that show that children have less motor skills due to late-term breastfeeding? I have never heard of such a thing and have not seen it with my family, the many bf women I know or the MANY women on breastfeeding sites I go to. Actually I just googled extended breastfeeding and motorskills and have only found articles stating the opposite. That extended breastfeeding helps with the development of motorskills.
Horselo285 7 months ago
It wont let me post a link- but discover magazine has an article and if you google it you will find more. Also, BM has pretty much the same ingredients no matter what you eatt. It has been found that there is little/no difference between mothers on significantly different diets hence why a woman who can barely get any food can still feed her child. A woman who eats healthy is benefiting herself more then her child.
Horselo285 7 months ago

Is this part of the same psychology mothers use to not give immunizations to children?
pdwd88 9 months ago
technocracy* has limited our ability to live naturally in the world. Thinks like extended breast feeding are not the result of biological pressures but social ones created by the excess of technology. What do I mean? Case in point: the green revolution; this is extremely relevant to the access to abundant food. With the increase in goods less time is spent searching for food, gathering materials, and ultimately raising young.
pdwd88 9 months ago
@pdwd88 I have never heard of any studies that show that you shouldn't breastfeed toddlers...quite the opposite. Now, toddlers do NOT get bf exclusively...they also get solids but the milk they are give has MANY benefits. Breastmilk changes to support the immune system of toddlers, it has ingredients that help to build higher IQ's and it has recently been shown to kill at LEAST 40 types of cancer cells. Why wouldnt you give that to your child as long as possible?
Horselo285 7 months ago
Also, to continue, a breast feeding woman biologically NEEDS to stop at an early stage in development. Let us suppose these women live in the wild in a more "perfect" state for evolution. At this point it is extremely risky for not only the child but also the mother to continue to breast feed after 2. The child MUST learn to walk and fend for itself in some small way else both mother and child become less likely to live on to reproduce. At some point we must acknowledge that technocracy* ->
pdwd88 9 months ago

PaddiePaws 11 months ago
@PaddiePaws IT IS PURE PEDOPHILIA because it is an infant, toddler or child that is causing ADULT WOMEN sexual arousal and wet secretions during the fondling and suckling of their breasts and nipples while breast feeding. Feeling sexual arousal is having sex.
domram12 11 months ago

death26row 11 months ago
@death26row Yes breastfeeding is natural and when women become sexually aroused with wet secretions and clitoral engorments THAT IS NO DIFFERENT than when men become sexually aroused with erections except for women's sexual arousal is FAR GREATER and for longer periods of time compared to the weaker sex and when a baby, toddler or child causes this during breastfeeding such women are PEDOPHILES and YOU CANNOT WIN THIS ARGUMENT WITH ME SO GIVE UP.

SO ONLY WOMEN will be able to get away with being PEDOPHILES due to their engorged clitoris THAT NO ONE CAN SEE through their clothing when they are fully sexually aroused.
domram12 1 year ago
@domram12 you most likely wouldnt be so aroused by children if you took care of 4 under 6yr olds 24/7 i tell you there is nothing sexy or atractive about small people that do nothing but scream, mess up your house, and SH#T ALOT ALL OVER YOUR HOUSE the smaller ones puke to in fact all my 6mo. old does is puke, (has reflux) Nurse(which is annoying as hell, GET OFF MY F#$%ING BODY), S#!T (which often leaks out and gets on me EEWW) and crawl around messing up my house with the other 3. GET A LIFE!
FaithHopeLoveMommy 11 months ago
SO IN ORDER FOR A WOMAN TO BREASTFEED PROPERLY a baby or girl must cause a woman to become wet with lust, sexual arousal, cum and orgasms during the fondling and suckling of the breasts or the milk wouldn't flow out properly. This clearly proves for a fact that breastfeeding of a baby or child is 100% PEDOPHILIA.
domram12 1 year ago
SO YOU'RE SAYING NATURE INTENDED WOMEN AND MOMS TO BE PEDOPHILES because nature intended women and moms to breastfeed and become sexually aroused as a baby or girl fondles and suckles on their erected nipples and breasts. SO THATS WHY THE LAW allows women and moms to be PEDOPHILES during breastfeeding because nature intended it to be that way.

@FaithHopeLoveMommy In a 2000 survey 40.5% women reported feeling sexual arousal at some point and 16.6% reported feeling sexual arousal at a continued basis while breastfeeding of a baby or girl and these women are pedophiles because its a baby or child causing them to feel sexual arousal and not another adult and it makes no difference if they did not intend to feel this way, its still a child causing them to feel lust and not another adult.

Really enjoyed this video.

@OpiumPawala - Just give them the finger :) lol jk, but seriously, I can't understand why anyone would think it is their right to tell a mom that she is breastfeeding too long. Who the hell are they anyway? As willowtreephoto said, EDUCATE them. If they criticize, smile and SCHOOL those people.
KaelaCarver 1 year ago
@OpiumPawala Breastfeeding is amazing, it is such a beautiful experience - though draining at times - for mother and baby. I breastfed both my children to around 1 years of age. A lot of people think extended breastfeeding refers only to children 2 and over but many women these days don't breastfeed past 6 months. You will know when to stop as your child & body will tell you. Anyone else's opinion is irrelevant.
ConfusedByLC 1 year ago

@JMDMBM Some babies are born with teeth so how does that fit into your opinion?
