  • Nothing matters to me...you own my soul completely. Indisputably the greatest post-punk anthem ever!

  • Mark said that this song is about him losing his virginity. At the 2:40 mark it sounds like an orgasm. This bridge section of the song is my favorite.

  • Wow, I've discovered a wonderful new band today.

  • what a tune, what an album!

  • So much passion in this song...it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

  • Attention all old people "stop name droppin!" You're all trying too hard to seem cool and obscure, but you're giving away all our secrets! Shhh! lol

  • I love the 2:32 mark where it becomes a totally different rocking song.

  • I was a teen in the 80's and I listened to all the major "alternative" bands- Cure, Siouxsie, Killing Joke, Ministry, etc. etc. but I wasn't exposed to the Chameleons until the mid 90's. God, I wish I had known about them sooner! They are simply incredible.

  • if you all, and all your friends, go out and buy tis brilliant album them\n this excellent band will get finally what they deserve: WORLD RECOGNITION!!!

  • So sad the multitude of people who never heard this album and never will.

An unexplainable amalgam of optimism and pessimism, bright jangly guitar and synth with dark brooding vocals.

One of a kind band, and I am amazed their depth of life's scope at such a young age.

  • cirpy luv it

  • Probably one of their best songs. And they´ve got many. Has anyone got a live version of this one? I may try to shoot one when they´ll play in Rotterdam next June...

  • this band wouldav dominated todays indie music grrrrrrrrrrreat band good on ya burgess

  • they certainly would!

a much underrated band with so many great songs

  • The first few opening secs of the song remind me of Mike & the Mechanics for a moment ;)>

  • Strange Times was/is nothing less than "our" generations Sgt. Pepper.

  • I could not agree more and may I add to that that headphones complete the experience.

  • what? with all the atmospheric sounds it's awesome if u listen to it with a stereo system

  • This is more than powerful.

  • Great song. A raw passionate love song from a band who usually perused darker subject material.

  • This is a great song! Best song off their best LP (and one of the top two or three LPs of the '80s) in my opinion.

  • I love this song so much.

    Best band ever.

    thank you!
