@yourliestopshere Ummm...what? Ron Paul doesn't work in government, he works AGAINST ANY KIND of organized government. Look at his voting record. What has he accomplished or voted for? You contradict yourself for commenting of Sen. Santorum's views by saying you won't comment on them. So Christianity is disgusting? He isn't perfect, but he's a far sight better than anyone else up there now. Rep. Paul would be a great Fed chairmand or economic policy advisor, not much else.
@Playit87 Exactly, he has never voted for raising taxes, increases the debt ceiling, undeclared wars. What has he accomplished? you ask. He has enlightened millions of people and is bringing back the republic party to their libertarian views, ie liberty and freedom, sound money, constitutional govt, ending of unjust and undeclared wars to name a few. He has educated millions, cant say that about neone else in current politics. Santorum is a joke and i will explain why.
@Playit87 He believes govt should choose who can marry who, he has been fighting against libertarians in the republican party, he believes if a woman is raped she cannot abort or take the day after pill, he thinks black people should not be helped by welfare, he wants to attack Iran, and he believes inflation is a good thing. Let me know what you would like to discuss about that and we will take it from there. Ron Paul believes in Freedom, sound money and obeying the constitution.
@yourliestopshere He supports a moral code and that makes him wrong? Have ultrasounds not proven that life begins at conception? (I don't necessarily agree with his rape victim stance, but it's better than pro-abortion. Statistically a small percentage, becomes an excuse) When Iran gets a nuke, you will see why we should have attacked them first. (NOT nation build, JUST attack) Welfare IS a broken system. His economics aren't perfect, but that is THE ONLY THING Rep. Paul get's right!
@Playit87 Wrong he supports a religious code, so its no wonder why he said what he said about jfk. Dont agree with your Iran statement, that is ludicrous. Actually I stand hand to hand with Ron Paul, he has not said 1 thing i do not agree with 100%. Santorum is a jokster with no support, Romney is a simple mind with no support. Ron Paul gets the most support and the media acts like its not happening. If the media treated him like they treat the others, It would be declared daily, Bobam1term
@yourliestopshere I'm glad you know what Iran wants to do with a nuke. I am sure you have talked to hundreds of people in the region to glean this information. Oh...you haven't? oh, well then ignore the world's problems and they will all go away...nobody will hate us anymore! Yeah right. Then all those countries who enjoy our protection and have good trade with us because of it will take their business to someone who will protect them. I bet that is GREAT for our economy!
@Playit87 Your presumption is that you know better than I on what Iran wants to do with that nuke, but my side is that I DO NOT CARE. IT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM. You want to complain about a nuke then go to Israel and become a soldier and protect them, or complain more about Pakistan which has multiple nukes and a rag tag govt.
@yourliestopshere Religious codes are moral codes friend. Just because you and others want to deny that doesn't make it so. At least with one recognizable code we can serve justice. When you take away standards you take away order.
@yourliestopshere I LIKE Sen. Paul. I think he is a good man who has some good ideas. His views on the Fed match mine. Unfortunately our system is too dependent to cut it off at the head right now. The political process works, people just need to really figure out what America stands for. Isolationism doesn't work in the world today. It barely worked before you could get on a plane and be anywhere in the world in hours. Sticking our head in the sand is not what makes us great.

@Playit87 Rand is a chip off the old block. A true gentleman, and a statesmen, not a statist like the others. Isolationism is factually and definitively incorrect, you need a dictionary. If this was the first time I heard someone recite the tv, i would give you more of a break, but if you believe anything of what you say, i have to ask you 1 question. How do you like being lied to?
@yourliestopshere I don't watch news on TV, it doesn't cover anything I can't find myself on Drudge Report, The Blaze or Early Bird. Nice try. What is the definition of isolationism then 'oh great one?' All you say to support Rep. Paul is, 'he is smart, I agree with him, his son is smart too.' Figure out how the world actually works, not how you want it to work. Being a realist doesn't make me uneducated, get out of the U.S. for a little while. It should open your eyes.
@Playit87 Do your own research. Being a realist would means in this case that you agree with me on the nuke situation, you would see as a realist that the 1st nuke weapon would not pose a huge threat to anyone except those who have been lets say meddling in their sovereign affairs. SO yes non interventionism would be a great place to start and RP is the only one talkign about that. The war mongering and beating the drum is beat and boring. Do something.
@yourliestopshere No, being a realist means you know how much they hate us, for what we have and what we believe. The more people who have nukes the worse off we are. They intend to make themselves relevant by building a weapon they can threaten others with. Paul-bots fail to realize the interdependency of the world today. All out war isn't the only option. Pakistan is a whole other thread, and I do complain about them. They are why Afghanistan won't be secure.
@yourliestopshere Regardless, stopping attacks before they happen is a better way to handle hostile regimes, vice waiting for something to happen to strike back hard enough. Non-interventionism is another way pleading ignorance when something bad happens you could have done something about. You're right, don't worry about your fellow man, just let him fend for himself in everything. You just want all the power and no responsibility. I hope someone sees the folly in that.
@Playit87 So your for preemptive war and irradicating sovereign arab countries for puppet states against the right of the people. So much for democracy. Always concerned about Your fellow man, just not everyone else. I see entirely, if it doesnt happen to you, you do not care, i get it. Plain and simple that is not fair, that is not freedom, that is democracy, so we dont have that here, but you think its a good idea to spread that everywhere else. Its a fail arguement.
@yourliestopshere Assumptions across the board here. I don't agree with ANY puppet government. I don't think we should prop up anyone who doesn't support our ideals. You talk about spreading democracy when a LOT of these countries can't function with one. There are ways other government systems can work in those countries. I support policies which keep American CIVILIANS safe. Keeping Iran from getting nukes is one of those policies. I don't support occupation of that country either.
@yourliestopshere (see below) I care about the S. Koreans, N. Koreans, Russians, Afghans, Iranians et al. I support policies which allow people to DECIDE WHAT THEY WANT! If Afghanistan doesn't stay a democratic country, so be it. The people didn't want it/didn't want it bad enough. Allowing them to decide vice be prodded by Taliban tanks IS a noble cause. You need to help those who can't help themselves and protect your friends. Rep. Paul doesn't endorse this thinking with his foreign policy.
@Playit87 I do not believe that at all. I agree you should guide the weak through the valley of darkness and be the keeper of lost children, but the idea of doing it preemptively and at the end of the barrel of a gun is not the best choice, starting with sanctions is a act of war. We need more sanity in the Gov, that would be nice.
@yourliestopshere What? Your incoherent argument makes little sense. Iran is a threat. You don't wait to neutralize threats, especially nuclear threats. We typically make war with countries who are either a threat to us, harbor threats to us or are EGREGIOUS violators of international law. Otherwise, we assist militarily and monetarily to improve their country while they help our interests in some way. Rep. Paul would take it all away from all our allies around the globe.
@Playit87 go neutralize pakistan, israel, or some other country. Going after Iran because they may have a nuke is a joke. The funniest part about your position on iran is that you say Iran is a threat yet we are gonna go take on Iran and wipe them off the map. IF you dont see the irony in that then i feel bad for you. Egregious Violator of international law? Pls tell me how the Persians have egregiously violated the INT LAW!!! You are very very sad, propose an alternative to paul with a brain.
@yourliestopshere Putting words in my mouth is desperate friend. I never said, nor will I ever endorse the 'wiping' of any country off the map. That is what Iran says they want to do to Israel. Iran isn't under that category of violators of international law (until they block the Hormuz), but they do constitute a threat. Your arguments are based on what grounds? Your own opinion? The fact is, Iran would LOVE to have a nuke. They saw how relevant it made an otherwise irrelevant Pakistan.
@Playit87 hahahaha, no i was quoting the pro war mongerers who stated that Ahmedinedgad <--w/e said that he wanted to wipe Israel off the map, and that is not what he said. WOw dude the conversation is over. I cant teach everyone everything. I hope you wake up for all of our sakes. btw its every soveriegn nations right to self defense. you said egreigous and havent backed taht up. I was simply pointing out the war drums to attack iran all in the name of iran attacking israel.
@yourliestopshere I was using the term to describe other nations, not neccessarily Iran. (Unless they block the Strait of Hormuz) You might want to read the Wiki article about the quote and see the ACTIVE phrase used means to remove the Israeli government. It was said. War drums are not being beat here. Large military actions are unneccessary and expensive. There are other ways to stop them, but the need to recognize the threat still exists.
@Playit87 But i dont understand why blocking their own straight is a US issue or worthy of going to war over. We have already declared war on them with sanctions, this is a act of war. I do not see how this is a national security issue, the blocking of the straight. Also Iran is not and has not been in violation of the Non proliferation treaty, so why all the saber rattling in the media and such.
@Playit87 Plus most recently it has been confirmed that french troops were caught in syria actin as rebels, kinda like when US troops attacked a police station in Iraq before the Iraq war to drum up dissent. The US is unofficially providing material support to the rebels, ie, al-CIA-da, which is a patsy of the US gov like Osama was and giving arms and money to the rebels all while Hillary Clinton lies to the American public.
@yourliestopshere Here are your true colors. Conspiracy theories. What would you do if gas went up to $10 a gallon? If the the Strait of Hormuz is shut down it could get higher. Good luck having a viable economy with that happening. Destructive attacks aren't always military. Osama WITH the U.S.? Not since they had a common enemy. You should look at all the evidence pointing to the contrary before subscribing to that theory. You are ignorant of all our adversaries in the world today aren't you?
@yourliestopshere Oh, and I've had LOTS of dealings with them inside and outside of the U.S. I assume you have had this expirience with our adversaries as well? Or are you just assuming it based on the 'good' nature of the human race?
@Playit87 Oh, I am not a republican. I like Ron Paul, and you don't have to like this, but I am all for Obama. My point is showing how his commercials show his views on something, but then contradict it or show just HOW radical his views are. 1) Rick Santorum is a family man.... He was involved in an affair. 2) His view on Abortion.... His response to that question contained no logic, and was very radical. 3) Welfare Reform.... He thinks welfare is for "black people"... you get the point...
@D1fF3ReNT Then you are a fool. Nothing this president has done made this country better. All he has done is attempt to put his personal decisions over those of the people. You can't just expect people to pay more taxes so you can spend more money. President Bush Jr wasn't good at this either, except he didn't raise taxes. 1) Has one of your friends contacted you after doing something wrong? 2) Radical? YOU CAN HEAR A HEARTBEAT! Way to ignore technology. 3) Last time I checked...
@D1fF3ReNT (See below first) Look at the welfare programs. What programs are you talking about? AFDC? Social Security? Food stamps? All of those programs need to be overhauled. Yes, he made a mistake by generalizing one race. Your man has ENDORSED AN ENTIRE ORGANIZATION BASED ON HIS RACE TRYING TO GET HIM RE-ELECTED! Imagine any Republican candidate endorsing their race..."Whites for Paul/Romeny/Gingrich/Santorum" NO! That's RACIST! You paint with broad strokes, and poorly at that.
