I would hate it if they made an anime after all this time and it ended up looking like that. I also hated the comics. If anything , if done anime they should use style like in Macross Plus. Not this chibi style, no offense. Disney owns it now anyway, so you already know they'll mess up Guen.....Dude, a Homeland movie would touch so many people, they wouldnt even expect it.

I don't think it fails. Better than anything I could ever draw (that's not saying much, though.) I've seen enough 'mature' anime (READ: not Pokemans or Bakugan,) to know that ANY emotion can be conveyed. I think it'd be awesome.

Okay, great artstyle and great music to go with it, but on a personal note I'm not a fan of that style of anime design just because it has a level of innocence to it that does match the context. And I'm probably gonna get a lot of crap for this, but I too want to see a Legacy of Drizzt series of some kind (just not that crap live action on thats been swimming around youtube...ugh that was bad...

No this fails pretty hard. The Dark Elf trilogy as you have read is a world of darkness and deception with faces to match. They often wear facial expressions exhibiting hatred or disgust and this would just not be able to translate the emotions they wear on their faces as Salvatore describes. Good illustration but it just seems immature compared to the nature of the book.

You should try reading The Cleric Quintet also writen by R.A. Salvatore. It a great series too and the charcters in that series meet up later on in the other Drizzts book.

Cadderly is one person of my favorite character.

It is surprise as linking "The Cleric Quintet" to "the Drizzts book"!

Besides Drizzt, my favorite character, until he dies, twice lol, is Zaknifien. If not for him, Drizzt would not of been the hero he became later on in the series. If not for Zaknifen's sacrifice, then Drizzt would of been either trapped down in the Underdark, or worse....

Drizzt and Zaknifen relationship is very complex.

Simultaneously with it, their bonds are so deep that they affect The Dark Elf Trilogy,and that trilogy is wonderful.

I also likes Vierna In that trilogy.

（She follows a way a behind sad end.)

Of course, Guenhwyvar is a favorite character;)
