  • Very good form, I was surprised--for how fast you did them

  • This type of challenge leans too much towards doing low weight. like if he did 275 x 12 on both squat and deadlift it would give him 100 more total pounds and be way easier.

  • Great lifting man, you should make this a challenge and post the vid of the guy that wins it. Cuz i would enter a vid if so, i can do 405 x 6 full depth on squat and 445 x 4 on deadlift at 168lbs bw. i would go HAM on this if u guys post the winners vid

  • Took the challenge today - was tough for sure. Blasted out 47 seconds @193lbs bodyweight. Video is posted in the video responses. Cool challenge Martin as always thanks!

  • After watching a couple of videos its clear that you deserve a subscribe, just awesome...

  • Don't you know that squat and deadlift are bad for your back and knees

  • Incredible seminar presentations, training my favorite fighters, always pushing himself toward positive gains. An inspiration as always.

  • Chuck Norris has a Martin Rooney poster in his gym.

  • u got me pumped bro!

  • martin = bad ass

  • THE CRANE!!!!

  • Rooney seems like a well rounded athlete.

  • These videos are always awesome. Best part is how your never out of breathe after the workout.

  • Martin Rooney is the guy Chuck Norris wishes he was.

  • Awesome job Martin! I'd like to see, using the same loads, how long it'd take you to do 26,000 pounds. Nothing but respect here. I can't presently do these loads. I just think it'd be even more impressive to see these loads and reps repeated set after set. That's where your followers will fall on their face - the repeating. A lot more people can do this for one round than could do it for two, three or four.

  • Great video, I MUST try this. May lower the weight on squats and up the weight on deadlifts. I want to beat this, badly.

  • you dont even look out of breath.. lolz, sick! keep inspiring us brotha!

  • Hardcore! Way to go!

  • the tfw 100 100 challenge is 6800 pounds in a minute lol

  • this motivates me!

  • hey what kind of training program did you do for your squat? how long did it take you to get where you are now? I sqaut 220lb I would like to squat 300 sometime soon.

  • @MutenKami _ it doesn't long if you lift properly. I went from squating 80lbs to 290lbs in

    3 1/2 months.

  • Wow !!!!

  • I see bumpers in the background...Is there a reason you don't use them in the DL?

  • @siscoekidd I use them all the time, but for the video, I want people to be sure the real weight is on there. LEGIT

  • My jaw hit the floor, wow.

  • This is VERY impressive! I've gotta try this. On Monday I did a set of 250X22 on the bench press, which was 5500 lbs. in about a minute. I should point out that I weigh just a *bit* more than the estimable Mr. Rooney. I'm also a little older, too (49 in February). I LOVE these workouts and am consistently inspired and humbled by them.

  • O....M....G!!! Damn!

  • I think this is CGI..not real

  • @fahadk1985 I think that is the best compliment I ever got!

  • @fahadk1985 CGI? Trust me (Sadiv-spotting) I would have had more hair.

  • strong mofo

  • this is awesome inspiration - just done an TFW upper body workout - tired as hell

  • I will do this too probably by tomorrow

  • OMG!! Lightweight baby...

  • Is this guy really human?

  • @Claymore2408 All 198 pounds of flesh and bone I am!

  • @TFWarriors1 Ahh jesus so when you're training you don't train for hypertrophy? I'm doing Muay Thai at the moment and when I lift weights I do them in short reps so I can become strong as you :D
