I kept getting killed on this last level back in my childhood. But several years later I finally beat it. As long as you don't get hit by the boss you should be fine. If u do get hit then he uses his magic.

but golden axe 3 have alot of Ability for each Char and Different route to take to change the game level,North and East Side

On the Ps2 game, there are more then 8 levels. I got killed at level 9 :( ! And you can play 2-player! PLAYSTATION 2 FOREVER!!!!
