You Americans, you continually say: this one is a false prophet, that one is a false teacher and so on but you have voted a wicked president {Obama}, didn't you have enough awareness of it before? The Bible says in 1 Cor 11:19,..."for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognised". So, it's good to find errors in others but what about yourself? do you ask the Lord to reveal you what is not pleasing Him in your life? Wake up!

@kimmidoll123 this man is, without question, a TRUE man of God. the fruit he has instilled & conveyed in my life PERSONALLY, has impacted my life in such a great way. his words to/over me caused me to yearn even more to please God, serve Him & long for the honor to be in His priceless, holy presence. prophet Jones showed me that God is worthy to be praised,served loved & worshipped on the basis of who God IS, not just for what He did for me

Bob Jones is wrong about Prophecy that "you can miss a prophecy." When God prophecy, He never gets things wrong. For God has all knowledge and understanding! It doesn't say much about Bob Jones's God...that his God can get things wrong. Glad I dont worship that God...because that God is not of the Bible.

all personal prophecy is conditional. Look at King Saul, how he lost the promise that he received from God through Samuel.

Drumtheater: I am not talking about conditional prophecy here. Iam talking about (missing a prophecy). I know and understand that there are conditional prophecies, like with King Saul, etc. But Missing a prophetic word, is entirely different from being conditional and it is wrong. Just Because you think personal prophecy is conditional, it does mean people have the right to miss a prophecy and blame it on the person. That means you are speaking presumptuously to someone. That is wrong!

Besides, I know that these Rick Joyner's Patricia King and etc teach how to become prophetic, they teach you how to prophecy to someone. No true prophet from God needs to know how to be taught. There are no classes for it. Its either you are a Prophet or not. Simple as that!

Drumtheater1: What happens if these guys do get a prophecy wrong, do you ever question that they might be a false prophet? Or do you just say everything is conditional and ignore the wrong prophecy? Read Deuteronomy 18.

r u sure Prophets didn't learn to prophesy? of course they were anointed with the Spirit of God and began to prophesy, if so why prophets in Old Testament were taught as a company by Samuel? and through Elijah? and Elisha?

also in New Testament, Apostle Paul wrote this, "For you may ALL prophesy one by one, that ALL may LEARN, and ALL me by comforted" (1 Cor. 14:30)

what you're arguing is not biblical.

well, teaching others to be prophetic is biblical, just as written in 1 Cor.

discerning True and False prophets is written more specifically in Matthew 7. this is the Word our Lord Jesus Christ directly said

"Beward of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are revening wolves... Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:15-20)

well. this is how we should discern true and false. by their fruits.

you're talking about your own doctrine of prophecy and judgement on false, but Bible says watch for their fruits. in your comments of judgement, i don't see you talking about Bob Jones' fruits of life? do you even know how humble he is? at the age of 85? do you even know how long Rick Joyner spends time with the Lord every day? come on man, lets not be rash.

Yeah The David Wilkerson sermon didnt apply to our topic on the prophetic. Just thought you will like the video.

However the stuff he talked about, are the same people who endorse all this kinds of manifestations. Todd Bentley, Rick Joyner, Benny Hinn, Ronny Howard Brown. and etc.

So if they endorse this kinds of manifestations are you sure they are from God in the first place?

I am assuming you agreed with David Wilkerson...is this correct?

Can you give me some verses about that Old Testaments propehets were taught as a company by Samuel, Elijah, Elisha? Then I will answer your other questions.

That's a fair question. We do need to check the track record of anyone who says they're speaking for God. (though the New Testament parameters for prophetic ministry *are* different than those of teh O.T.) We also need to know how to pastorally handle those who speak prophetically and those they minister to. With any power gift comes responsibility and the prophetic voices must remain under authority and be ready to take correction when they've overstepped in some way.
