@CHEVYedsf the big bumper is weight thats why you see the front of the truck lowered down so much the reason its a big weight is bc at the sled goes farther more weight goes on the back of the truck and make the truck squat down so the weight on the front give the truck traction for the front wheels
@jmanwild Sorry, but diesel owner's are not the one's who started the stack craze. They have been putting stack's on gas pickup's decades before diesel's became popular. You can roll coal with any exhaust you put on your truck. Rolling coal is nothing spectacular or special. Stacks are for anyone who wishes to put em on their truck's. Plain and simple.
@jmanwild That's how I roll when it comes to my truck and trucks that other's own. "To each your own". If you like putting a certain item on your truck, then go for it. Enhh, it only controls it to a point and it is very little control. The soot will still flow quickly into traffic behind you if you decide the need to soot another motorist. LOL
@CSXtrackworker i was reffering to sled pulls. diesels are required to have turn up exhaust on many sled pulls. (otherwise the sled driver gets smoked out.
watch ryan bambachs 1998 chevy cummins sled pull and you'll understand. (hood stack but same idea)
@jmanwild Yes. I do know about some track's haveing rule's like that. I was referring too 99% of driver's who do not sled pull with stack's not really serving a purpose other than look's and sound.
This is the first time Ive seen this sport. Can anyone tell me why they have the huge bumper thingys up front? lol

@CSXtrackworker I suppose to each their own, but stacks on a gas are just for looks.
Stacks on diesels are useful. (controlling exhaust clouds)
