You have to remember you can just throw 90k under the hood of a car to make it fast. You need to strengthen the chassis, rebuild the rear axle, so your looking at 120k easy on a cheap chevy. Let me also say I dont think a chevy with 90k under the hood alone would be street legal. The GTR is nice but there are plenty better!

gtr doesn't cost 100k? A premium gtr for 2010 actually costs 83K. In comparison, a 2010 zr1 costs 109.8K. So if you'd rather 110K, then you can go get a zr1, and i'll go get a premium gtr and have 27K left to spare. The gtr already proved itself faster than a zr1 around the ring, only thing i have to do is move half a second faster in a straight. Well, with a extra 27k left to spare, i think i can do that.

The 6.0 has more problems because it has more parts, common sense. However, what makes the 6.0 bad is the sealing technology. In comparison, sealing used in the 7.3 is flawless, but there wasn't much to the 7.3 and therefore there wasn't much that can go wrong with it. If you sealed the 6.0 like a 7.3 and block the egr, its far more superior than a 7.3.

the 7.3 powerstroke excursions that i find are generally more expensive because they are more reliable and get better fuel economy. That's why people who buy excursions look for a 7.3, and also why the 7.3 is generally more expensive. But those people (unlike i have) dont usually have a history on working on diesels.
For the money you can get a 7.3 excursion, you can get a 6.0 with arp studs, gaskets, a tune, and a egr block. If you want, even an exhaust
Stock means no aftermarket parts. Only factory parts and setup. What's the big issue here. Lol

@82coxy actually if you look up 2010/11 skyline that car pops up. what all did nissan put "GT-R" badges on?? they had the sunny GTi-R which was a hatch back sentra. the older Japanese skylines were G35 cars. The new GT-R is a skyline. just doesn't carry the same badges. look up the R35 and tell me what car pops up. it's still a Skyline.

@SuperJustblaze12 the r34, r33 ect. are accually skylines. the skyline is the car name while r34 is the generation name and gt-r is the model. skylines are still made however in the U.S. they are marketed under infiniti as g35s, and g37s. the gt-r is a whole new line of cars and they are just using the r labels for generation purposes.

gtr doesn't cost 100k? A premium gtr for 2010 actually costs 83K. In comparison, a 2010 zr1 costs 109.8K. So if you'd rather 110K, then you can go get a zr1, and i'll go get a premium gtr and have 27K left to spare. The gtr already proved itself faster than a zr1 around the ring, only thing i have to do is move half a second faster in a straight. Well, with a extra 27k left to spare, i think i can do that.

You could very well get a ZR1 Cheaper than the listed priced depending on the state of the dealer. Second, GT-R didn't prove anything. 7:26.7 for it 7:26.4 for the zr1. 3: the gtr actually cleared the ring faster than the zr1. The zr1s time is just fast because they clocked it late and ended it early.

@GigaMinion Ok that video has articles all over the internet speaking of how reliable that video actually is. i most have almost next to no common sense as the 6.0 psd has a horrible reliability rating and NASTY mpg rating. No point of that thing unless you are towing something CONSTANTLY. I also hope you make enough money to get a sizable garage as it's not fitting in a standard house garage. Lastly, a z06 could be purchased and be modded to keep up with a gtr .

The 6.0 has more problems because it has more parts, common sense. However, what makes the 6.0 bad is the sealing technology. In comparison, sealing used in the 7.3 is flawless, but there wasn't much to the 7.3 and therefore there wasn't much that can go wrong with it. If you sealed the 6.0 like a 7.3 and block the egr, its far more superior than a 7.3.

the 7.3 powerstroke excursions that i find are generally more expensive because they are more reliable and get better fuel economy. That's why people who buy excursions look for a 7.3, and also why the 7.3 is generally more expensive. But those people (unlike i have) dont usually have a history on working on diesels.
For the money you can get a 7.3 excursion, you can get a 6.0 with arp studs, gaskets, a tune, and a egr block. If you want, even an exhaust
