@auron2214 If you look, the cockpit is in the mouth, Jerid pierces it between the eyes. I would suppose it's safe to assume some kind of ejector seat, escape pod, etc. got Four out of the cockpit before its head blew up.

Even as she lays on the ground there is still no sign of how she survived with no scratches or missing limbs. The anime is just simply old so I guess and the fact people back then didn't show much gore in animes would be the reason why. would have made more sense if they simply just made her explode like any other pilot then simply placing her body in a random spot untouched.

so zeta getting very good and feels alike gundam series to me. the frist mobile suit gundam series did not feel like gundam to me for some odd reason. It lack political complexity and had strange legged tanks and hover tanks. I guess since The first gundam series I watch was gundam 00.

@Blackfox981 Char has been blown up an returned unscathed. Heero Yuy self-detonated a Gundam while inside the cockpit and fell several stories before crashing into the ground and he was fine. Hell, Lalah blew up in the Elmeth and yet her consciousness lived on. The Gundam series treats death and explosions in a silly manner.
