Hi Jason thanks for your great review on the M90Z. I have a question for you, can you configure the touch screen for single or double tap. If you can configure the single or double tap for the touch screen how do you do it, thanks.
@7:33 In Windows 7, if you're using a touch screen and you find the buttons too small you can increase the size settings in the Display section at the Control Panel.
@QuasimolecularFlux Indeed, I discovered that after using it for a couple of weeks. I think Lenovo made a huge mistake by not creating a touch-friendly theme with custom button settings that are bigger. 99.9% of all users will never find that setting.
That desktop took a really long time to boot up, my 5yr old dell boot faster with a gig and a half. Anyway, for touch screen computers like those should have a different mode to them so it be easier to use them. Don't u agree?

uh, dude your wrong. Win 7 x86 allows up to 16 gb of ram (im running 8 on mine) and x64 allows 999gb. the motherboard would be the only thing limiting the RAM in this computer
@trevorgoyobro If you spend even two seconds researching this on Google, you'll understand that you're the one who's incorrect. Windows 7 can only utilize 2.8 GB of the 4 GB of RAM installed because it's 32 bit. Lenovo should have put 64-bit on here.
@ThoughtsMedia i havnt researched this, i am only speaking from my experience building computers. i agree that it was stupid of lenovo to not install a 64 bit version but as long as you have a p55 chipset or one of the similar models you can get the 32 bit OS to allocate more than 2.8 gb of ram. you can do this in xp as well but it isnt common to install that on a build that is new enough to do this
@trevorgoyobro It uses the Q57 chipset, not the P55 chipset, and what you're describing isn't possible under Windows 7 and/or the BIOS on the M90z. Yes, there were some esoteric ways to get up past 3.5 GB under Windows XP, but they required specific hardware and often a certain piece of hardware (such as a graphics card) would make it impossible. So the rule of thumb is 32-bit = 3 GB max, 64-bit = a hell of a lot more. :-)

Great overview Jason. It was pretty funny how you reacted to the icons splitting up in "simple tap" ha ha

@Mouthmusician That was the initial boot where it does all of the configuration; the normal boot is much faster (I'll be timing it for my review).

@Mouthmusician Wow you're so dumb.. no wonder you have a dell.

@xxCLASSCLOWNxx Oh, so YOU'RE that guy! ;-) No worries. As for the Mac Mini, as they say, it will be done when it's done. I'm not in a rush.

@trevorgoyobro PAE... Why on earth would anyone would still be using 32-bit Win7?

@NoRogeR i cant yet afford to upgrade my computer with a 64 bit processor
trevorgoyobro 1 year ago
@NoRogeR Most times when 32-bit Windows 7 is deployed, it's for compatibility reasons.
- Jason
ThoughtsMedia 1 year ago
@ThoughtsMedia From my own personal experience I haven't had a single problem with compatibility.
