  • Im natural also and what helped me was a Dominica roller set. it last 2 weeks

week 1 curls start to get loose by the of week 2 the is straigt or the blow brush it out. I love it and its about 25 to 35 in some salons.

  • @JWOriginals I've always been curious about those. Might have to try it out soon.

  • Great vid! Love that song!

  • @dovedarby Thank you! I LOVE THIRD DAY!

  • hey hun ..love the hair.. whats color is that in your hair? and how long have you been natural, did u transition?

  • @MsAYANNA2010 Thank you! I've been natural 3 years in march. I didn't do the BIG chop but I cut MOST of my relaxer out and then did a series of cuts afterwards every month. I wasn't comfortable with having NO hair. I'm not high maintenance enough for that.lol I think the color was honey blond, without a booster though, so it came out darker.

  • your hair looks really pretty, I want to get colour in my hair but is it really worth it? I don't want to dye it and then damage my hair again, then big chop again

  • @sweetdimpelzz Trust me, I understand. I've met people who had a really good conditioning routine who didn't suffer from color but If you decide to go with it, you MUST stick with strict hair care practices. I've learned my lesson :)

  • I like the definition from the twists. How long did it take to dry? I used to do semi permanent color and when I noticed it getting dry I started doing deep treatments 2x per week until it got better. Then I just went to 1x each week. Like the pics at the end :)

  • @mitchellzee Thanks. I usually do my twists at night and by the morning they're usually dry. I think I'll try that conditioning 2x per week. I like color too but I'll just have to step it up a notch with my routine.

  • I concur w/Breeeauna. I love the color in my hair also to spice it up a little so I 've committed to deep treatments more often. Good seeing you again.

  • @11zeaky Gotta have the spice, but You're right, deep treatments are a must.

  • @11zeaky I agree it helps keep the natural hair experience exciting!

  • Maybe you should do a heavy protein treatment like aphogee 2 step . It helped reduce my frizz after dyeing.

  • @Breeeauna That's exactly what I planned to do. I've had one and my hair was really soft afterwards. Thanks for the suggestion .
