Age of Empires 3 - Editor Disc 3

hi my name is Juan. I have a questoin for everybody, how do i make a scenerio or map, where i fight a cpuwho makes anything except artilliry. It gets boring after a while and laggy. i want to play a regular 40 min treaty with the comp or several with out artilliry. I've tried for months searching and doing it myself but couldnt get the comp villes to ever continue playing. if that makes sense, thank you.

@JBP46 The scenario editor is for making scenarios with pre-set events. it's difficult to make an actual skirmish properly. If you assign AI to a CPU player then eventually they'll just stop after a while. If you beat the AI you won't actually win the Scenario, unless you set it off by Triggers. Triggers makes the scenario editor come to life, as you can see in this video. Watch it!

@CordeliusKM goto Program files, find the campaign folder in age of empires 3, drag a campaign file (it should be named something like age3.scn) over to the scenarios folder in the documents (or whatever folder it is that's not in program files). open campaign file in editor, start new scenario, then look in Cmera tracks, a bunch of cmera tracks from the campaign folder you just opened.

@sickbastard151 what you do is: select the animals you want in each group or 'herd' that runs away together when shot at and stuff, go to object-herd editor- and click create herd for those selected

i'm doing it in the video, but i also added few extra triggers. it took a me a while to figure out myself. should i make you figure it out by yourself?....hmmmm...nah. the trigger is the "Camera Cut" trigger, DON'T THINK IT'LL SET ITSELF. Move the camera (by yourself) in a position that'll look like a 3PV view, then use the trigger, "camera follow unit" and make the camera follow that unit. how to make him stronger you say? I FORGOT.

What's a land food source called when I create a scenario and testplay it, the other team doesn't do anything, it creates 5 or 6 villagers and they won't touch anything they just stand there even though I've set them to computer controllled, maybe it's because I don't give them any food sources, i cant find the cherry bush.

How do I set it to variable? When I do a scenario the other team doesn't do anything and when I've built up my team theirs is just standing there doing nothing, they do attack me though when I invade but don't build themselves up, which menu do I change this iption on?

no you idiot! you don't set it to varible, that means the player you want to have the artificial intellegence is varible, it can either be players: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, or all. before you say anything, goto my videos, and look for a video called "How To Set AI".

i had all my views saved in a camera track when i messed with the file. so when i play the camera track, it goes through all the way points i set, which where at cordinates outside the map.
