great video, thx for uploading. Still can remember when I watched the race on TV, one of the very first ones of lance after his illness. Back then I really felt sorry for him as I thought he would deserve it to win after his hard time... retrospective I have different feelings...

Very exciting. Duffers at his best commentary too. Hey, Camenzind confessed years after this race, admitting he took EPO at the end of his career. But yeah, that was a time when a lot of doping was likely going on. Festina, Pantani, etc. Great race though.

All doping allegations aside, this was actually a pretty good race. A hitter-fest on a rainy day and a hilly course.. plus local boy, Boogerd, punctures and loses his chance, breaking all Dutch hearts, ahh good times.

Holy doping hall of fame. Camenzind, the winner, gets busted for EPO afterwards. And dirty, dirty Armstrong? Please. The top players are all known dopers, busted or not.
