lol he is so cute he loves to talk i can see... I had a bird that would ask if he could have a bite when you was eating and if you try to give him a bite he would try to bite you than he wants the food

Thanks - he is a really happy guy! (He just started saying "I love you" yesterday... and "thank you" after I give him a kiss - it's so cute!) I'll post it, as soon as I get it on tape! :)

Oh! LOL! He sleeps in his cage - if he gets tired and I don't put him to bed, he just goes there on his own, then I'll shut the door and cover him up. Then he's quiet all night, until he hears us moving around, in the morning :)

My sons and grandkids understand and agree - we're all pet lovers - so it's easy to add to my baby's playground, whenever I feel like it!!!

I don't know you guys deal with getting bitten...my TAG was such a sweet parrot until he bit down on my finger and hand really hard drawing blood...now I'm sort of fearful of him...

Aw, parrots bite. I am all scarred up from mine! It happens and one has to get over the fear, and know it will happen again. I understand where you're coming from!

Does McCoy bite? I was bitten really bad once by a yellow nape amazon, and to this day I'm leary of anything that has a curved beak! I was sweeping at my job and bent over to pick up the dustpan. The bird reached out of his cage and bit me really hard (well, in the hiney) I can laugh about it now, he really goosed me good. BUT, it left a nasty scar. And, now I'm afraid of large billed birds.

My last pet bird was a dove, she never bit :)

Of course, she never talked either ;)

Although I am sure he would bite really hard, if he felt threatened, he doesn't really bite at all, unless you scare him. He is capable of a warning nip though, and you can tell he has the strength to do some damage... gotta at least have some respect for that beak!!!
