Really hate to be the 'old fart', but we used to totally 'tank' this piece - a real wall of sound, movement and just general shouting and grunting! Get with it, youngsters! be a bit more 'Shillingbury Blowers' and a little less 'Brassed off'...

I had gotten this piece at school and i was supposed to be given the piece that was intended for 3rd B flat clarinets and instead i got first and it was really hard.

a real show piece! when i played it in hs, we did a "standup" version where the melody for that particular part stood up and played...it was too funny, audiences LOVED it.
