Spellbinder, 1988 Movie (Part 1)

Anyone else feel this movie was a complete rip-off of the original wicker man? I was enjoying the movie up to a point but when it hits the third act I was completely disappointed that the film takes the turn it does

This movie is excellent, one of my favourite films of all time and Kelly Preston is dead hot on it better than the fleabag chicks like that stupid cow from "My so-called life" whom i can't remember her name, you had hot chicks back in the 80's ike Sam Fox, Emma Sams, Heather Locklear and Catherine Oxenberg

I watched this movie on HBO the night of the Loma Prieta earthquake, just after power was restored in our neighborhood.

@TwistedSister19 download freecorder 5 on your pc and you can download it on ur comp...and burn it yourself, if you have a dvd burner....f.y.i. you'll have to convert the video you download into a format thats burnable to a disc ( theres a difference!!)....the freecorder download comes with a converter...its not difficult, the hardest part is finding out what you have to convert the video to...once you know that its cake

I've watched over 150 horror movies this month and this one left one of the biggest impressions on me. So take that as an endorsement if you will. Very cleverly written with characters you actually care about.

Thank you so much for posting this film. You are a very nice person. This film is impossible to find in video stores - now that they no longer have VHS in them.

On a side note, Kelly Preston looks so hot in that short, black dress. The music sets the stage nicely.

Thank you! You've saved a bit of my sanity.I saw this movie not long after it was released and I loved it, but forgot the title. Actually ,I forgot most of the details. I've been racking my brain since.This morning I decided to search for the title of a second movie I also love and forgot the name of, when I found this one. Now I have to laugh at myself at how I could have forgotten when one of the characters has the same exact name as someone in the military I used to write to.
