This song is copied from song of film "Shukriya" released in 1944. In old film song was sung by Zeenat Begum and Amar and composed by music director G A Chishti. Lyrics were also written by Chishti. There is no difference in tune and base lyric "Hamari gali aana accha ji hamen na bhulana accha ji. Baba Chishti was one of the greatest music directors of Pakistan film industry, particularly in Punjabi films and also mentor of famous music director Khaiyyam.
Beautiful song. If I am not mistaken, this song was also included in a very old movie Sanyasi probably from 1945 or so. It was sung by Amar and Zohra Bai.
Beautiful song by Asha and Talat. However, the voice of Asha does not match with Mina Kumari. Also, Talat's voice does not suite this fellow either. Perhaps I may be mistaken but I feel some other singers voices would have suited them better.
There is a refreshing vivaciousness to Meena Kumari here , akin to what Geeta Bali and Nalini Jaywant usually conveyed. Very sweet, charming clip. Thanks, dipiaar.
ot is a melodious song.
