Since you are light years ahead of me in your converter knowledge if you or anyone on who views your channel, I have a major problem, which I assume others have encoutered, or I am just a brain dead cave man. I used this freemake video converter that was listed as safe by Norton as a complimentary security program and it was not until my video / not audeo program froze up and now I get the message that freemake is unsafe, my system has been out of commision for a few weeks now & no end in sight.

when starting your computer hold down f8

it should give the option to begin repairing it

choose the system restore point one

then chose a restore point that dates back to before you installed the video converter thing

it will wipe anything installed or anything on the computer since when that restore point was made

and the video converter and its shutdown viruses will be gone with it

need help with other stuff just send a message and subbing me wouldnt hurt

@toogawnjawn Thanks for the info, I will give your suggestions a try This complilentary norton security through my comcast internet provider isn't any better than the macaffe was. The freemake video extractor was aproved as safe for my system and I used it for few months, now after all these problems popped up norton gives me the message that this program is unsafe to use.

on windows u can make ur own timed shutdown just make a new shortcut and put it shutdown.exe -s -t 60 and name it shutdown it will give u a minute the 60 is seconds
