Is that the Jenny Rat Cage from pets at home? (: Im hoping to get rats after i sit my GCSEs (Summer 2010), and im looking for the best cage to get (: its either the Jenny rat cage, or the Furplest tower or summit (:
It a product designed to be used by rats so these things wopuld have been put into consideration. I have owned eight rats to date and had no problems with illness or respietry probelms.
@MasterOfTheMidgets i get the same thing and i agree with u i had have 8 (this friday of 7-2-10) the baby rat will be my 9th and i had mabey 7 litter or 8 and i used thayt beeding all the time but mine has all so orderless in it as well as dust free. and non of my rats had any problems but one rat had a tumer from to many litters.
I've heard its ok but rats are best suited to cages. They are very intelligent animals and need stimulation. A cage and the types of items you can get to go in one usually provide the right sort of stimulation.
This is one of my favorite things to watch my rats do on their own... it's also part of playtime, one of my girls is crazy about paper beds. The music you chose is perfect. :P

I'm not sure but its dust free. Rats are alergic to dust you see.

Dust free wood shavings ; ) It has to be dust free cause they're alergic to dust.

wood shavings shouldnt used at all, rats are allergic to the oils in softwoods...
