  • keep in mind that washing brushes in HOT water can melt the glue that holds the bristles together and ruin your brush.

  • Robocop hands in a cup?

    LOLOL.

  • haha drinking the glue was funny!!!

  • Hi Stealth,10x for ur tutorials.they helped me whit all of my work.so 100000000 10x´s.

Can u tell me how many cans of plasti dip, adhesive promoter and paint did u buy for the hole costume?

Im sure that i have some errors in my writhing so excuse my inglish,im romanian so i have an excuse :))))))

  • Spray paint, doesnt peal as easy bro

  • @DerRitterDesWut sure looks like shit if you paint foam without a sealer though bro.

  • @TheHeroTutorials ...Well, I actually am good at painting.. :L

Even with spray paint... So stop being a jerk man :\ I was just tryin to help.

  • @DerRitterDesWut jerk? I'm just replying man. What part did you dislike? The answer is pretty legit.

Don't take it personally bud. I'm just real.

  • Yesss! Plasti-Dip is awesome! I used it on the rims on my car. Great stuff :)

  • hey, the upside of not diluding the glue properly is....with the trick of a light torch gun on the pealed spots, you can make some battle scaring. also. cheaper more generic alternative to plastidip would be "liquid tape" same thing, different name, not to mention it's very very flexable and shiney when it dries in 10 minutes. i know i don't have any of my works on here. kinda trial and erroring on it right now to make something really unique

  • did you really drink the glue? o.o

  • @ChocobitCosplay no moron, he drank milk.

  • @ChocobitCosplay He did. I tried it, yummy! try it too

  • has anyone done one of these suits and is 5 6 tall and could tell me what scale they used for each part in pepakura?

  • @lilgnome1984 it's worth measuring each piece yourself as some of the models are different scales from each other (ie - 1.10 scale on the front isn't the same as the boot). It's a pain but I learnt the hard way.

  • Love the work bro im going to build one out of foam and i was wondering if you can pm me with the sizes you used for each part of your suit in pepakura you are the same size and build as me and it would really help me out THANK YOU BRO

  • [n my best MIZ voice] ur AWSOME!! lol mmkay.hi... im a big guy..... and i want 2 build iron monger 2 my body spects out of foam. do u have ne info on getting good photos or maybe something better than that? ne info would help. thanks!

  • I flavour my left-over glue with a twist of lemon. Adds a certain zing. Yum.

  • @w0mblemania mmm

  • here's my WIP need to seal and paint next (also remake the helmet bigger). I've been using the left over foam strips to join the COD to the legs, what do you think ? I've also used this technique for the leg to shin joins as well, but you can't see it in this vid.

thanks for your help dude, it's been a breeze with your vids.

  • I freaked out for a second when he started drinking the "glue" xD. Great tutorial !!!

  • Tomando agua de horchata van a pensar q si te tragas el pegamento, se me antojó :/ .. wen tutorial vientos!

  • If I understand, you use plastidip for keeping the flexibility of the foam? Would advise you to use too (or in place of) some liquid resin on the foam for upgrade the resistance? Could you recommend to me a good tip for protect the last paint layer on the costume exept a varnish of course? Great thank you

  • hey man thanks for all the tutorials! hey man id like to paint my helmet like your with a burnt mark on it but i dont know how to make it look like yours..please advices thanks again

  • Hi

you'r Toturials are the best !!

Ahmm , can i use a sleeping matt too ???

please answer because i do XD.

    THX

  • @Funnynator100 You can use those mats but they wont be as strong but yes, you can use them

  • Hey stealth loving your tutorials , and thankyou so much for uploading them i am about to set on to make my first foam project , making the Star Wars: The Old Republic jedi knight armor , and was wondering how you do the scratched paint detail in your armor? do you paint it with a small brush or is there some other method? thanks bro!

  • @chunchoe do you mean the scuffs?

  • @TheHeroTutorials yeah , that's what i meant sorry for not being clearer

  • @chunchoe that's ok. Just wanted to know. I will make one for that.

  • @TheHeroTutorials Sweet , look forward to it.

  • Hi nice video, my question is if you can use vinyl and fabric spray to paint the smooth on 320? what do you recommend?

  • hey man jus wondering is your helmet made out of eva foam

  • Plastidip uses xylenes so watch out it burns. And the smell can put you in the ER.

  • Plasti dip is awesome. I used this to build a Batman Forever Panther Suit. It isn't as flexible as foam latex or silicones, but gives a nice hard rubber armor feel. Comes in tubs and spray cans.

  • awesome! this helps alot! awesome Video

  • When it comes to foam armor that doesn't need to flex I coat it in resin, that way it's protected and I can easily paint it. Flexible costumes are harder, for my Tron Legacy costumes I covered them with latex (as in sheets of it, not liquid latex).

  • @TheHeroTutorials Bruv, you NEED to do a scaling video. don't mean to rush you, but I've made the chest piece thrice now and have gotten the size wrong every time.

  • @Dondarhosen I will try to get that done soon. Should only need to be one video.

  • what sort of foam is that?

  • It was worth waiting, I started my mark VI project as soon as I watched the first video, thanks for sharing and keep the excelent building and the awesome tutorials, greetings from Mexico!!!

  • Awesome! It was a long wait!

  • @G1lson22 sorry about that. I learned a lesson here. I will only upload these multi-video series tutorials once they're all filmed. I don't like having to find time/motivation to do them. It's not fair to you guys.

  • @TheHeroTutorials DUDE! You do these for free and they are greatly appreciated. Take your time, make them the bomb and take over those damn Epic Meal Time guys on here! I swear, if I hear my kid go on one more time about freakin' 20 lbs of bacon on a donut, I am just gonna snap...

  • @darthpinhead1 It's a small niche, Epic Meal Time is more mainstream in terms of entertainment. I wish costuming was that big. Thank god there's the RPF as the main hub..

People on there are my idols/celebrities to me.

  • You mentioned that you should dilute the glue to the consistency of milk... Which type of milk were you referring to? Skim? 1%? 2%? homo?

  • @v4LLy13 I'd say probably 2% :p

  • @v4LLy13 Has to be organic, but expired for 13 weeks. No more, no less...

  • Mmm! Glue does a body good. Thanks for adding the video.

  • if u gona use plastidip do u also apply the glu to ?

  • @smokie545 if you use plasti-dip, you don't need the glue.

  • @TheHeroTutorials Bro, you're gonna get SUED! I laughed, though...

  • @smokie545 If you use plasti-Dip, you don't really need the glue

  • awsome vid!

  • I'm building a Deus Ex vest right now and I used the plastidip method. It worked really nice for most of it but if too much is applied too quickly it starts to do strange things to the foam. I got some weird bubbling and some of the.. "pores" in the foam opened up quite a bit. the rest came out pretty nice though. I actually dig the glue method a bit more. I also tried modgepodge. It dries slightly differently than plain white glue but has the same peeling problem as the non-diluted mix.

  • I hope some day you can help us with a tutorial of how to make the arc reactor and the led, for the eyes of the helmet, also what kind of led do you use? can you see troug??

  • @drcoloso2099 That's next.

  • so technically all these kids are not eating paint chips...

  • Thanks for this video! I'm going to try the dilute PVA glue method. I'm thinking of building a War Machine out of foam, but just wondering how I would go about mounting the mini gun (since I imagine it would weigh the foam armour down - how did you / plan to go about mounting it?) Anyways, once again, thanks for this and have a great new year!

  • @machprime I'm actually thinking of putting together a War Machine suit once I'm done with my Iron Man one, and I'm planning on trying out cardboard tubes from wrapping paper. They're long and light, but not too strong, so I'm trying to wrap them in a layer of green painter's tape. It would be best to go in the opposite direction of the spiral that's already in the tube to ensure strength. From there I'll figure out the pieces to the gun and try to put it together. Might work for you

  • nice work Stealth. Found some plasti-dip online but I think Im gonna try a clear coat, paint, clear coat method first with the foam I have. It seems a bit more dense and doesnt absorb as much.

  • I'm a big fan of the Plastidip method I've used it on other armor that I've worked on. I've also had success with using a spray Truck Bed Liner (which is often easier to find) though it will create a texture that you may not want. [link is blocked :/] evidently Rustoleum now has a "shimmer" spray that adds that metallic fleck to any color you spray it on...

  • Awesome just about to whatch it :D thx alot steffano

  • Shit i drank glue

  • @sprigletstudios I lol'ed

  • thanks this is great help as i am makeing my mass effect armor and needed some visual help thanks keep up the great work

  • @papasmurf515 np. sorry it took so long.

  • May i also know what foam do i have to look out for when im buying?

  • @LoserMcBeaver this is part 4. How about you check part 1.

  • First bitches!
