this clip follows alot of bruce lee's principle of trapping, something that bruce hadn't openly taught to anyone, and reason is that, why teach someone something that they could beat you with, only a few in bruce's inner circle have picked up a few moves of his trapping technique, that he uses in his fights all the time.
Well it is all good doing that on someone who is letting you pull & push him about. Now try it on someone who is attacking you for real. I have had fights with black belts & higher. Still they seem to go down in the first punch i give them.....Strange ah!

While I would agree that his Techniques don't share much or anything in common with Bruce lee's style he is still very good. He actually has a lot in common with Hapkido, It's a lot of disarming the opposite and braking limbs. Hapkido is all about how to use self defense and to react to an opponent. This guy should not put Bruce lee in the title if it doesn't have anything to do with him, but it is a good video.

i don't think bruce lee would have approved of any of this with his name on it...because that's not what he was about. He wasn't about teaching a method at all...his principles were to have none.
Also if Bruce saw this video he'd probably say you used way too many complicated techniques to subdue someone...really unnecessarily large amounts when a few strikes could have done the job.

patrick has techniches,but frankly he isn't fast enough, he seems to be lacking agility with the moves, when doing a move you have to be lose, not stiff.
The guy attacking is ridiculously slow and his attacks are VERY deliberate. A 4 year old can predict his movements. But Patrick does have some cool moves.
BL was the best fighter the public have ever known. His wisdom of martial is at a 10 dang level. There was a great secret fight between him and a Shaoolin martial artist that they both said they won. After that BL revised his JKD, saying that fights should not drag out too long. For a guy whose born and breathe Martial Art every second and was at that level. I dont think anyone could have truly beat him in his prime. Much like Jordan, if you were good, he'll just be better.
In my view, there were guys then, as today, who were better than Bruce. However, I had the chance to talk about BL with one of his original students, and BL was a "bad dude" who you would not want to run into in a dark alley. BTW there are quite a few bouncers or bodyguards who can "street fight" but have never fought as pro's, same with cops.
I have personally trained with some of Bruce Lee's former students (including Mr. Strong) and would just like to say that if you get a chance to train with him, count yourself blessed and pay attention!!

this clip follows alot of bruce lee's principle of trapping, something that bruce hadn't openly taught to anyone, and reason is that, why teach someone something that they could beat you with, only a few in bruce's inner circle have picked up a few moves of his trapping technique, that he uses in his fights all the time.

While I would agree that his Techniques don't share much or anything in common with Bruce lee's style he is still very good. He actually has a lot in common with Hapkido, It's a lot of disarming the opposite and braking limbs. Hapkido is all about how to use self defense and to react to an opponent. This guy should not put Bruce lee in the title if it doesn't have anything to do with him, but it is a good video.

i don't think bruce lee would have approved of any of this with his name on it...because that's not what he was about. He wasn't about teaching a method at all...his principles were to have none.
Also if Bruce saw this video he'd probably say you used way too many complicated techniques to subdue someone...really unnecessarily large amounts when a few strikes could have done the job.

BL was the best fighter the public have ever known. His wisdom of martial is at a 10 dang level. There was a great secret fight between him and a Shaoolin martial artist that they both said they won. After that BL revised his JKD, saying that fights should not drag out too long. For a guy whose born and breathe Martial Art every second and was at that level. I dont think anyone could have truly beat him in his prime. Much like Jordan, if you were good, he'll just be better.

In my view, there were guys then, as today, who were better than Bruce. However, I had the chance to talk about BL with one of his original students, and BL was a "bad dude" who you would not want to run into in a dark alley. BTW there are quite a few bouncers or bodyguards who can "street fight" but have never fought as pro's, same with cops.
