You will be paying for the island ( probably around £10 ) and you'll get the dust storm for free ( i hope ).

just like bikes cannot drive with cars, people with the island will not be able to play with people who dont.

You have to play again, the trophies aren't retroactive. Sony wont allow them to be because if they are then people could unlock like 20000 trophies in 2 hours, through downloading save games.
