@eunholy1 If the string is supposed to be muted, then it should have an 'x' on the string at the 'nut' or yes on the first fret if you will. Just look for an 'x' and if u find it, mute it. If there is an 'o' on certain strings and maybe one string with no symbol, that one is muted. If there are no symbols at all, then it is an open chord. Hpoe that helps!

@eunholy1 You strum all of the strings, unless they have an 'x' but the nut or the thickest bar closest to the head on the string that is muted.

@eunholy1 LeeeSeann is talking about tabs online, but this video doesn't show the Xs and Os that tabs do, so their comments are irrelevant. in this video, you only play the three strings shown. They're called power chords. Look them up on wikipedia to understand how they work. Keep in mind this video is simplified. Power chords don't mimic the song exactly, and the acoustic parts of the song are played with non-power chords, so it will sound very different when actually played.
