  • this engines gonna be like driving one of those 1.4 or 1.3 diesel astras lol screw that u want the asbo versions like arbath or VXR!!!

  • @philje123 top gear fan much? :P :D

  • Are you lot having a laugh! I agree it's a great engine technically and is very nippy but you're talking like it will be saving you loads of money on fuel! You're probably going to be lucky to achieve 30mpg on a mixed run. Get a small diesel (polo 1.4tdi etc) and get 50+ mpg on the same trip.

  • I drove one of the original 500 hundreds a few year ago. I think that was 2cl, 500cc & 17.5 bhp. This one is 2cl, 875cc turbo with 85 bhp. So it should be quite nippy. With fuel prices at approximately 1.30 a litre, it's the car to have.

  • @marcandsebe 1.30 ?? only? in Greece the unleaded has reached 1,70 euro per litre ......:S

  • it's 800cc i believe

  • @War10ck1004 875cc

  • I´m in desperate need of a car with an engine like that, with this fuel prices.. :-(

I LOVE FIAT 500, GOD, help me to get one pleeeeease...

  • @gregocr get a diesel

  • @eskimo810 you don't get it!

  • @doddsalfa i do actually, if you're looking for good fuel economy, the answer is a diesel. It's not really an option in the US unless you want a golf TDI. Thats where i am. I' m not too familiar with european brands but i know theres the vw polo there with a turbo diesel. research, getta diesel.

  • @eskimo810 you buy this car for the 2 cylinder engine, the engine sound and character of cource fuel economy .

  • @doddsalfa the guy i was responding too made a point about fuel economy. Which i was commenting on correctly. Frankly if you can't understand that get the fuck out of here.

  • @eskimo810 If you drive this car in ecofriendly way you dont need diesel.

  • @doddsalfa my comment remains logical.

  • @eskimo810 diesel is economic only if you do more than 35.000km a year. And not in the city.

For citycar is better a good gasoline engine little and economic, like the 1,0 from Daihatsu or like this.

And in any case the 1,3 mjet is better than TDI for fuel economy, power and reliability.

  • @eskimo810 Then why is it that Diesel is becoming more and more expensive than petrol?

  • @gregocr Get a battery car.

  • @gregocr It does less MPG than a VW Polo Bluemotion ;)

  • @gregocr It's a nice engine, but not one of the most economic...

  • @gregocr man the fuck up and want a real car
