I read somewhere that the music is from a company called EliasArts.
definately possible. it's been a few years since ive played it, but i'm quite sure that Need For Speed: High Stakes was associated with EliasArts. just a fun fact :P

Living in NYC, I rarely drive my 07' MDX, but it does offer an amazing drive on long hauls out of the city.
