Dave839, did you do work for Carl Scholl? I helped to get 44-30832 into ferry condition so he could take it from Ramona up to Chino, and really restore it. I was in High School at the time, too. Cheap labor ;)
Both of those aircraft Executive Sweet and Heavenly Body are actual sister ships. Not only were they used in the filming of Catch-22 but their Bureau Numbers are only twenty or so numbers apart, they rolled out of Inglewood only a day apart in 1944!
I helped restore Executive Sweet (44-80301)while I was in High School. Go out and visit her, volunteer even. Make sure you say Hi to Ricky, Alex and Chuck for me.
