Almost every mammal that eats meat eats their newborn's placentas, they're full of nutrients that will contribute to the mother and the spawn. I dont understand why people are so against it. It seems to have good effects on the mother. All animals (and we are a species of animal) eat their placenta, and animals do things instinctually for survival, so it certainly isn't bad for the body. I don't see why anyone other than the mother should eat it though, unless it's a cultural thing.
I also think drying and encapsulating it is much less disgusting and will probably also yield better effects.
