Strange place to ask this question, but no problem... There are 6 screws around the top of the snare. You just have to tighten them with a drum key (one comes with the set). Check the owners manual or look it up online. As with most circular bolt patterns, you want to do a star pattern and tighten a small amount at a time to get even tightness around the head.
As a drummer in real life and in Rock Band, I gotta say. I am very impressed. This is the best of both worlds combined. I gotta give this a try one day :)
you have an 8 thousand dollar roland drum kit? i am so jealous, everytime i go into guitar center, i play the 5 thousand dollar one, just wishing i had it, lol
LOL I was wondering when someone would comment on that. It's actually propping up the digital camera to record the screen for the note charts. It was the best thing I could find haha.
Thanks. I tried doing it with the crash over on the left side near the high tom (where I *think* it's supposed to be). I couldn't get my brain to work right in the game, it was just too confusing so I moved it over tom3. It is a stretch to get that crash sometimes.
I'm not a drummer, but I'm pretty sure it's the ride that goes near the tom most of the time, but you can set them up however you want. It's not set in stone.
iv been playin the drums for a while now, never have played rock band. you should keep practicing ur pretty good for a beginner from what i see. good vid
ah fuck i hate this song on guitar shit i get so angry its not all that difficult on drums but its a good song

Nice work man, good to see someone actually using the cymbals at appropriate times rather than just hitting all the normal pads.
Can't wait til i get my set, gonna be awesome :D

The funny thing is that this could almost be a preview for rock band 2 from what i have heard
awesome set. ive used one before but it wasn't for rock band

I'm planning on doing this with, but with a very cheap yamaha dtxpress (I found a snare that costs more, so)
I bet one of neil peart's cowbells costs more than the best e-kit money can buy

thats awesome.
i would do this if my roland wasnt the 8k one.
lol
DamageCrue 3 years ago
You don't modify the Roland in any way. You have to modify your $80 rock band set, but that's it - Roland is unchanged, just outputting MIDI ;)

ooohhhh.
i didnt realize.
whoops.
i might actually try it.
itll help a shitload

Dude, that was excellent, I wish I could set up my rock band with an electric kit. Great drumming too.

Very nice setup you have there! It should be noted that you are doing it the harder way with the cymbals placed where they should be, good job!
