They make the images by shooting up water at high pressure into the air making a huge mist/water screen. A projector behind the show (by the cars passing in the backround) displays the images on the screen

Yes, it is in Hollywood, FL. It's on a three acre lake right against SR7 on the East side and wrapped by the Seminole Paradise entertainment district on the West side. Shows begin @ 11am and run every half hour until 2am daily, weather permitting.

It is the only one of it's kind in the US so far & a sight to behold on a clear summer night.

I don't know who you emailed but you are receiving false information. The schedule is as I stated in my comment above. It has been down a total of 4 days in the last month for weather. We maintain it daily and new elements are in the works. Come take a look.

Thanks for your info. It was Julianne Carelli the public relations manager at the Hollywood Hardrock who emailed me with that reply. You had stated that the show runs from 11am - 2am but can you really see it in the daytime? I'm going to go there one night this week to see it then. Thanks for your help and I can't imagine why in the world the Hardrock would tell me it hasn't been shown for some time.

Sorry for the confusion. It's a large organization, as you can imagine. Day shows do not include video pieces and average 3.5 to 5 min long. The four video shows start @ 9pm, run on the hour until 2am and are 12.5 - 13.5 min. Pick a calm, clear night for best screen image. Enjoy.

The images are easy. If you don't notice. Not many of the water streams are lit while the images appear. All they did was project an image onto some mist of the water. The image seems to be separating because the projector is only at one angle and going through more than just one layer of mist. Projectors like that that have to be bright enough can cost 10 Grand or more.

This looks very much like one of Laser Fantasy International's (French company) shows. Their water shows tend to be like this: a water screen with projection, and some mildly Waltzing Waters-like moving nozzles. Not really my style of water show per se, but don't judge this against Bellagio. Not all water shows are just like that, or imitations of that.
