cool video. but there is one slight problem, the logitech speaker sounded really good because they were pre-amplifed. you probably won't get the same results if just took out the speaker and then connected it to the audio port on the motherboard. you'd get the same tiny sound somewhat similar to the stock msi speakers. i know you were only testing to see if it did work, but like kevlarian said, you could have just plugged it in the headphone jack.
@nvdrzm Really late reply but actually you are mistaken. If you watch my video you will see that the speaker is DIRECTLY connected to the laptop without any amplification . At the beginning I am carefully holding the two speaker wires directly to the audio port of the laptop. As someone else mentioned the point of this video was to show that the laptop can power some heavy duty speakers. You can see my other videos to see I ended up replacing the stock MSI speakers with Sony ones.
He was trying to show that the Wind can power a speaker with high power requirements. It's to show that the tinny speakers in the laptop can be replaced with much better high powered speakers, as long as they fit in the case of course.
