We animated this in a classic way - sketched and made clean-ups on paper. Then we scanned the clean-ups in a simple program called "flip-book", then transferred and colored the frames in photoshop. (As well as the backgrounds)
The scenes were put together in adobe premiere and after effects! All frames were made the classic way, but in the computer: transparant everywhere but the colored areas.
We used to make original-cel animated movies at that school, but it was time consuming and hard to get enough space to color for this movie, so we went digital. (lining up cell's like that: almost covers a whole classroom!)
I hope to make an other movie someday, esp. as I want to make something better than this one day! :) It's been two years after all.

Hej! Utmärkt animation, apan var så söt! Och allt var mycket bra ritat. Om man *måste* ge någon kritik, då man kanske kunde ha arbetat lite mer med manus, och ibland var det inte lätt att höra vad man säger i filmen. Men överallt är den här en riktig snygg film! (om jag har sagt något dumt, så kan det vara därför att jag är finsk och svenska är inte mitt modersmål...)

Eftersom vi krävde så mycket tid som möjligt till själva arbetet, pratade vi fram den här lilla handlingen hastigt på 10 minuter, och gjorde ett storyboard baserat på ett taskigt skrivet textdokument. Det förklarar väl det hela.
Jobbar med att ha en lite bättre planerad kortfilm till nästa animationsfestival(2007). Jag hoppas på att kunna bättra på bristerna som fanns i den här filmen. (Ljudet med!) :)

Nice work girls! :) I really like how u made the backgrounds. The movements of the character is very good as well.
How did u make it btw? By hand/cell animation/computer programs? *nyfiken* =)
