Do you lube the cube on all of the faces, or just one?

Had this cube for 3 months and used it a LOT and the case you mention has never happened to me. Note, this is a Rubiks brand store-bought original cube. I have no idea the effect of this lubing technique on DIYs or any of those fancy cubes.

Ever had problems with the centre pieces unscrewing from the core? I've had it happen on a number of cubes, and can only imagine that lubing like this makes it worse!
